I still like to think that those are the lyrics, because from what I’ve heard, what it’s like to be a father, it’s a feeling you can’t describe. It’s something you have to experience for yourself.

I’ve been stuck on this song the last few days. My grandma passed away and this song brings me back to my childhood memories with her. Every weekend I would watch Tarzan with her. It was our favorite movie RIP grandma. I love you so much!❤️

So, um...I remember listening to this when I was a kid. I'm having a fight with my mom about how I cut out certain family members who abuse me due to quirks brought on by Autism. Listening to the lyrics, "The power to be strong, and the wisdom to be wise; all these things will come to you in time," and "A man in time you'll be," makes me realize how far I've come. I recently began calling myself an adult (at 29 years old). I have been affirmed that I am doing good things. I was nominated for a humanitarian award at work, and people are just constantly impressed by me. It took time, but I'm a man now. And no one can tell me differently. Thank you, Mr. Parrish for bringing this to the forefront of my mind.

I liked this song alot as a kid. My dad and I absolutely loved this movie. Hes gone now, but each time I watch Tarzan, I think of him. This version is so much more emotionally moving and powerful than the Phil Collins version, and I so deeply appreciate you making this song your own. Thank you for doing this song, cause first this is in my top 5 Disney songs, and second when people do Tarzan covers they usually only do You’ll Be in My Heart, and Strangers Like Me. So it’s nice to see some love given to Son of Man.
I was randomly blessed with finding this single and my goodness I’m blasting it carefree in my truck! Tarzan holds a special place in my heart as it was the first Disney movie I watched in theaters with my mom as a kid. Good times. Keep it coming guys, you’re amazing!

When I saw the notification pop up to be notified I clicked it immediately. Phil Collin's Tarzan soundtrack was by far the best one to me, and this is one of my absolute favorite ones on the entire album. I subscribed for the viking chants, because your kind of rock is one of the few I love in this genre, and when I saw my favorite rock musician was covering my favorite Phil Collins song, I knew I had to hear it, and let me tell you, you did this song absolute justice, and I will re-listen to it for the rest of the day. Thank you for sharing this with us.

I think this goes equally as hard as Phil Collins' original rendition of it. This cover is absolutely my favorite, you have a fantastic voice for this style of music. That being said, Phil Collins went way harder than Disney deserved for the Tarzan back in the day and I don't know that anyone will truly OUTDO him... They'll just roll up alongside him.
