I started with royal rows recently also. It's so amazing! So much faster in stiching and no mistakes anymore. Thank you so much coming up with this!

Hello my lovely really enjoying your channel I’ve tried your method and liked it so I tweaked it instead of putting the threads in the dungeon 🤣🤣I put them in the next column and put my waste threads in the dungeon ❤❤

So happy I found this video and your other videos. Stitching Mommy mentioned your royal rows in one of her videos. I was preparing to start my first full coverage and was quite confused as to the best process. I am using this method and I love it. I'm sure other methods work for other people, but I need a very organized one and this is it. Thank you so much.

I think I get it now! I read about it on your Facebook group but couldn't get my head around it!
I'm about to start a new project (though I probably shouldn't 🤭) and I'll give Royal rows a whirl, thanks for sharing!

This is just brilliant! I've been having a hard time finding a parking method that works for me, and the thing with getting lines in the piece is really frustrating, but having tried your royal rows has really made all the difference! Thank you!

Oooh, I like this. I have been wanting to try parking fora a while but I'm terrible for carrying threads further than I should. This might make me behave a bit better. I might try converting the piece that I'm currently working on

Hi Ali. New here. You randomly appeared on my recommendation list. Looks like a fun way to stitch on a long scroll frame. Looking forward to seeing your purple parcel presentation. Haeds make lovely rotation pieces especially if there is good contrast in the pieces 😜

I’m going to be starting my first full coverage piece and I’ve been a bit apprehensive about the whole process. But, your video makes a lot of sense to me and doesn’t seem so confusing.
I do have a question about your stitching. I have watched this video very closely and it looks like you are stitching half stitches and not crossing them. Am I seeing this correctly?
Thanks for your video, it’s been a big help.

Really enjoyed your video and tutorial. I heard about you from Mrs Karen Needlebugg so thought I would check you out....I have subscribed and rang the bell 🔔. Im looking forward to catching up on your other videos. I stitch 10x10 diagonal blocks and stitch right to left, and the left to right, until all tha color has been used. I might try using 10x20 blocks like you but in a diagonal 🤔. Can I ask....is there a reason why you don't finish your thread with a pin stitch?? I'm new to full coverage...have been working on my 1st by TCSS called Mr and Mrs Cardinal. Congrats on your Haed being in the mail on the way to your country 👏. Until next time...stay safe and enjoy whatever your stitching 😊

First of all thankyou so much for subscribe and 🔔
I'm happy you enjoyed my video and hope you enjoy the rest, I'm relatively new to uploading videos. The reason I don't pin stitch is because I find difficult with 25count zweigart evenweave, plus I find finishing the way I do prevents lines in the finished project. Happy stitching 😀 xx

Would you mind sharing the dimensions of your fabric? It looks to be the same size as a project I just started this past weekend. I'm struggling with finding a good way to tame the excess fabric. I have it on an 11x17 q snap currently but it looks like you have yours on a scroll rod? If so, what length is the rod and what stand are you using? Thanks so much!

When parking do you park the same color more than once or do you carry it up to the top of the next column of blocks?

I would love to get this method a try but I do have a question. What if the pattern has large blocks of color or if the length of your thread is very long and you don't have to end them often, would you then get column lines?

    • @RoyalStitcher
      @RoyalStitcher  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hi and thankyou for your comment. I don't use the extra long thread when I'm stitching royalrows because I feel the finishes is what's preventing lines. If stitching with longer thread, little finishing to the right you'll basically be stitching in columns only. Royalrows method is a little dose of stitch both rows and columns, cross country, colour choice is reduced to whatever is withing the tower, and because your working the whole width you get the feeling of a finish by reaching the end of a first row 😀 hope you give it a go, and I hope you love it. If you don't, that's absolutely fine. Happy stitching xx

@@RoyalStitcher thank you so much. It looks so much better than the way I've been stitching. It seems to me I can just end my thread periodically to make sure I don't have the lines. I can't wait to give it a try. Thanks for sharing!!

Darren mentioned you on his latest two videos🙂. It's always great to find another British stitcher😁. I'm glad you call it thread cos we never called it floss before Flosstube! Sorry to hear about your ankle, and I know what you mean about the painkiller fog. I'm now on cocodamol and it definitely mucks with your brain☹️. I've been cross stitching on and of for 35years plus and now I feel like a beginner I just cannot concentrate. Great video hoping you'll be back in your stitchy place very soon. Take care🤗

Are you using waste knots to finish? If so, how far are you carrying the thread before bringing it to the front?
I'm very interested in trying this method, as I have always been a cross country stitcher, but have lately decided I'd like to change, for a myriad of reasons.
Also, I wonder if the lines might be solved by staggering the rows? I'm overly fond of loop starts and finishes, so I'm really just trying to dream up a way to continue. Lol
All right, carry on! I've badgered you enough for now! ;)

Plan on trying out this method on my WIPs 😃 On another note, how on earth do you thread your needle like that?? I’m so kak handed, I’ve tried many times and I just can’t get the threads through the eye of the needle, even with one strand let alone 2. I use a size 28 and the eye hold is really small I have to use needle threaders but I hate them xx
