Los Angeles is all of LA county. But TBH people who truly feel and say they are from LA are from East or South Los Angeles. There’s a huge culture to the east side of LA (East LA, Montebello, Pico, Whittier, etc.) that makes up REAL LA culture… not Hollywood. We talkin Dodger Fan culture, cruising, etc. Same goes for the South side of LA (Compton, Inglewood, leimert park). No one really from LA thinks of LA as Hollywood and what Julius thinks LA is. So cool to know Des is from Pico too! I’m from Pico but moved to the outskirts of LA where there’s more nature and mountains. I hope to leave this place too. Everyone comes here to chase their dreams while gentrifying and pushing the people actually from here out or making it harder for them to live.

When I was a teenager, I was getting changed in my bedroom late at night and I felt someone was staring at me. I look at my window and saw a hand holding a video camera. I still to this day at 31 years old, have OCD making sure windows and doors are locked, blinds are closed all the way before I go to bed. 😔

I pay $1600 mortgage in CA for a 3bedroom 2bath and pool with spa in a nice neighborhood. So it all depends on the city. Of course LA is more expensive that’s where Hollywood is at etc.

I spent a couple weeks in LA recently and went to some parties there and can definitely see how Des felt like people didnt care about her and just wanted to be the coolest person. I left those parties feeling like a loser and that I was way below everyone else. But when I traveled to different parts of southern cali, it was different and Enjoyed the nature, museums, hiking, beaches, farmers markets, surf competition, and just different aspects of the cities that were very relaxed and beautiful. The social media and influencer parts are what makes people think theres a lot of fake people for sure. If I moved there I would definitely stay away from the parties and popular people because it can really bring you down

I’m a weirdo when it comes to hotels I usually clean the whole room and ask for fresh sheets and I carry Lysol too because I be spraying everything down. That’s so gross that means they aren’t having anyone clean or do treatments in their home that’s crazy.

Im so glad I stumbled upon your podcast, although I have been watching your youtube channel for years now I hadn't came across this channel. I have to say thank you for opening up and being raw being real! not everyone likes to be real now a days or open up about anxiety or social situations, and I can relate to you both when you guys brought up social anxiety. The smaller the circle the better!

Im also a dialysis patient with lupus. I have a 5 year old daughter that just started kindergarten. I juggle dialysis & chemo & being a single mother. It’s definitely been so hard. I was hoping maybe y’all can share my link. To help me in my time of serious need. I’m 26 years old I’ve been on dialysis for 2.5 years I started when my daughter was only 2.5 years old. She’s 5 now. It’s been the hardest time of my life being away from her 3 days a week for 4.5 hours. Then the endless doctor visits and tests they constantly run on me. I love y’all just sitting and being raw. This is lovely. If you do a meet up definitely hire some security for your famille’s safety. I’m a weirdo when it comes to hotels I usually clean the whole room and ask for fresh sheets and I carry Lysol too because I be spraying everything down. That’s so gross that means they aren’t having anyone clean or do treatments in their home that’s crazy.
