14 yrs ago i was in an abusive relationship. Mental then physical. The thing is she always said her previous relationship she was the victim of spousal abuse. When she wound up crackin me in the head with a glass bottle from behind, even then i didnt retaliate. Only stopped her from hitting me in the face with said bottle. Then she says "oh youre gonna call the cops now!?!?! Go ahead theyll believe me first and youll go to jail!!!" As shes saying that shes smacking her own face and pinching her arm for marks to show the cops. I didnt call the cops, i just grabbed what i could at the moment and left. Best.....decision.....for the moment

I stopped hitting men about 10 yrs ago when i met, who is now, my husband. I always thought it wasn't a big deal if i attacked my man when he made me mad enough or called me a "b*t**". Then if i ever got hit back, I would freak out bc it would be harder than i hit them, and i didnt think it was fair for a man to hit a woman bc they're more powerful.. But that's why i don't need to be hitting people. My husband nipped that right in the bud off the bat. Since i stopped, I've come to realize how wrong i was. It was impossible for me to control myself from attacking until i got myself hurt a few times. Very toxic, big mistake.
