I still remember when Kira Kira Precure A La Mode was announce, it gave me Tokyo Mew Mew vibes and I love how these video shows it so well. The fan made video is amazing!!!

While the differences are very similar in tone, to me, KKPC is just a modern TMM in my eyes, even invoking some homages that I would know right off the bat. Even both series have their Cat-type characters (Ichigo and Yukari) had an episode for being Cat's themselves for crying out loud. (Though both series handled them rather differently.)

I just feel is the worst season so far :/ at least Maho Girls tried and I found the characters more likeable, I'd kill for a second season of Maho over KKPC but I guess we can't get everything in our lives
I prefer the original one, since the backgrounds are more detailed, the shadows and the proportions of the characters are better and the colors aren't as in your face, but I respect your opinion

Kirakira is the only Precure I've finished so far. Yeah it was very similar to Tokyo Mew Mew and the obsession with sweets was a bit over-the-top but the characters and music were perfect and the fight scenes in the first half of the series were pretty sweet too

This's just a fan made, they use Tokyo Mew Mew and change it to different characters (I think) because the ending originally for kirakira precure is in 3d, not in 2d.
