This year's BBC Strictly Come Dancing Season has just been brilliant. The final was amazing, for me Stacey or Joe were the winners... so I was pleased with the result. A special nod to Dave Arch, the Singers, the Band and the production crew. The show really is a feel-good end to the year! Take a look at the opening VT (the production values in this were so good) and the opening number from the Strictly Pros from the final... SO GOOD. Goes down as one of my favourite all time Strictly Pro routines. LOVED the 4 suspended rotating platforms for the finalists too. Honestly, was massively impressed with this segment of the show.
I was actually really upset that Joe and Dianne didnt win, they had the most creativity in their dances and dance is not only about technique, but expression and telling a story. I was really upset at Craig giving them significantly lower scores than the other judges because it seemed to be unfair. Everyone talks about how this show is rigged and i didnt want to believe it but i must admit, there are some red flags. Especially since some of the girls in the finals had prior dance experience. But either way it was a great show.
Ringers never win, Joe did great and so did Faye and Ashley. However I'm inclined to fall on the "show is rigged" side, but it wasn't even rigged in favour of Stacey - it was rigged in favour of Kevin. They made it Kevin's win and just like Louise Rednapp turned her in a prop and an after thought. Aliona is the only pro ever to win twice and they still allowed it to be Jay's win as well, this final was just obnoxious.

I don't think I'll ever understand how Joe didn't win. Watching Zoe and Alfie's watch party and just seeing how much them and their friends were voting, which meant their viewers were likely voting too. I just don't get it!

Although I don't agree, it seems like most Strictly fans would have the BBC add 2 new rules: 1. Only UK celebraties and 2. No one with any type of dancing experience.
My point is not that my suggested new rules would change this year's results. It is just would make clear that "if you are not from the UK or if you have dancing experience, you need not compete because you will not win. Our voters will not vote for you." If that is the unspoken rule, why not make it official?

It's an entertainment show. If this was a 100% dancing competition Danny Mac should have won in 2016. Alexandra Burke should have won in 2017 etc. But they didn't.
Joe and Dianne were the first couple I announced as my favourite! I loved their Charleston and it was like their second dance! I’m not saying anything to favour him cause I’ve never ever watched his videos but he always made me laugh! Also, did anyone else hate Ashley’s voice? Joe and Dianne are my favs and always will be but I agree that Stacey should’ve won. She came on the biggest journey and that’s what the show is all about. As much as I love Ashley and Faye it wasn’t fair they were there but nvm they were extremely good. I wanted Lauren and AJ and Amy there. Not Danny I don’t like him but just amy on her own 😂😂

It's an entertainment show. If this was a 100% dancing competition Danny Mac should have won in 2016. Alexandra Burke should have won in 2017 etc. But they didn't.

Joe and Dianne were the first couple I announced as my favourite! I loved their Charleston and it was like their second dance! I’m not saying anything to favour him cause I’ve never ever watched his videos but he always made me laugh! Also, did anyone else hate Ashley’s voice? Nothing wrong with Americans but the way she pronounced Pasha Parsha, it just killed me it was sooooo irritating!

Stacey is the most undeserving winner out of all of the strictly shows. I just think her family voted 5999 times each.
There is no doubting that Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton were excellent, as too was Faye Tozer, but it was really Ashley Roberts who clearly should have won Strictly Come Dancing. There was no way that a British public was going to vote for a girl from Arizona USA over a girl from Luton.
She was basically a professional dancer in her singing career, what did you expect (same with Faye )
