I have had my pond for 13 years and I’m on my 3rd Oase pump so have lasted roughly 4 years each give or take. The latest rectangular design is a much better design and doesn’t get clogged up as much as the previous rounded design. I still think they are good quality pumps though.
I had my pond for 23 years and the Oase round version lasted 21 years, with 24/7, 365 days of the year use. My pond was a natural pond with plenty of gunge to remove. This was with a 5 year guarantee! Needless say purchasing a replacement by Oase was a absolute no-brainer decision. Very pleased with that durability.
@@markhibberd7750 I had one come with the house I bought. The previous owner said that it could withstand a solid freezing. He was wrong. Product description is: "frost resistant". That's something different actually.
A real ronseal moment video. I needed to understand the percentages for the skimmer and if there was any filter loss of flow. Great video
Thanks for the video, very clean explanation as I want to get a skimmer and don’t know how it works. Now I know what to get.
thank you for the information. My pond has the old model, but I really consider to take this one into account towards the end of the year.
What an excellent little video! Perfectly clear presentation and explanation. Thanks!

I want to use this pump to feed a filter and a small bog filter, will this pump do that please?
very helpful thank you 🙏🏼
I have this pump outside the pond. Is there a Way to control the intake/outflow ?
If youre only using one hose, do you need to buy a stop end for the other outlet. Or can you leave that open because i didnt get a stop end with mine.
Could I use this as an external pump only to run to a filter for my pool or does it have to be submerged in the pool
Awesome thanks
Would they suck gold fish or newts into the pump?
My Fish (Koi and goldfish) do not get stuck in it, nor do my newts but I have had the occasional frog stuck it.
