human beings were clearly the problem here-not angels. God says in Genesis, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever. I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth” The “giants” mentioned must have been human also-descendants of Adam. Why would God hold man accountable for something the angels supposedly did. It does not even make sense, if you read the scriptures interpreting sons of God as angels

In Genesis it says 1 man 1 woman standard. How did JSmith think polygamy wouldn’t be questioned.
And they believe in polygamy in heaven. It’s crazy what they believe. I recently left the Cult. I’m So happy to learn about the real God of the Bible.
The Nephilum is really interesting to me I’ve just recently learned about this.

Thats a good question. Demons/fallen angels line is curious to me. In the words of a pastor I know: "not worth changing your church over" ;-) Nontheless, there are questions that are to be found out. We'll be learning forever, how blessed we are. I am not only interested in the spirits of the hybrids (Enoch says they are the wondering spirits on earth - I don't take Enoch as inspired - but curious), but also the resurrection of the Millenial saints - when does it occur? You're in faith during the Millennium of or Lord in a mortal body and you die... what happens? I know, these questions are just an exercise in curiosity, but since Angels ponder Grace of God... I can also ponder the Widom and the plan of our Savior.

I have some questions also. Glad this is not salvation issue for me. I'd. B a lot more nervous(I like to know what's true vs gossip/tradition).
I've heard another end time pastor go into nephellim, he said they were unredeemable . It seemed as if it was a little farfetched, and I had trouble finding biblical back up. I think pastor Woods said this pastor was not speaking from scripture, but from his own conjecture, or what he thought likely.
      I don't know but it's overwhelming
cuz I just started believing in nephillem being as big a part of history as even bible is saying. Now they r using medicine to mess w human DNA, plus I thought angels that fathered nephellim were jailed. I guess if they did it again they would think they might could prevent Jewish humans from calling out to Jesus as Messiah at end for relief (bc not full human,or jewish)
Only thing it seemed made nephellim unredeemable was who fathered them(demons). I wonder about that. Pastor woods I think said they weren't redeemed bc flood killed unsaved, and that explains where they are.
I could b wrong, as I'm writing this sounds like even woods gives some credentials to nephallim being in hell. Confusing times .

      hi jd, i hope you’re doing good🙏🏼
The way i understand what I’ve read is in Jude:
3Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. 4For there are certain men crept in unawares,
“who were before of old ordained to this condemnation”,
“ungodly men,” turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Next Jude says to remember these three different occasions when God punished offenses
5I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this,
      ( 1st example)
how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
      (2nd example)
6And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
      (3rd example)
7Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh,
are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
If you keep reading, you will see that Jude is talking about people, not angels, but human flesh throughout the remainder of the book.
As for the angels, i take it that this offense wasn’t for having sex with human woman, which is impossible according to Matthew 22:30 and Mark 12:25,
but rather they were put in chains for leaving their position that God gave them, and instead they followed satan and Revelation 12:7-9 tells us that they even fought against the Archangel Micheal.

Genesis 5 are the sons of God in Genesis 6, angels are NOT the sons of God in Genesis 6
Genesis 5 Genalogy line. The names listed in Genesis 5 and the meaning of the names in Hebrew and also their ages.
Adam (Genesis 5: 3-5) Lived: 930 Years. Adam means “Man”
Seth (Genesis 5: 3, 6-8) Lived: 912 Years. Seth means “put” or “appointed” or "Substitute"
    Enosh (Genesis 5: 6, 9-11) Lived: 905 Years. Enosh mean a " mortal man"
Cainan (Genesis 5: 9, 12-14) Lived: 910 Years. Cainan means dwelling place
Mahalalel (Genesis 5: 12, 15-18) Lived 895 Years. Mahalalel means "praise God or God be praised"
Jared (Genesis 5: 15, 18-20) Lived 962 Years. Jared means "descend"
Enoch (Genesis 5: 18, 21-24) Lived 365 Years/Translated never saw death. Enoch means "to initiate or discipline:-dedicate, train up"
Methuselah (Genesis 5: 21, 25-27) Lived 969 Years. Methuselah means" [his] death will send away, cast out.
Lamech (Genesis 5: 25, 28-31) Lived 777 Years. Lamech means " to be low, depressed or grow poor or impoverished"
Noah (Genesis 5: 28-29) Lived 950 Years. Noah’s name means "comfort or rest" Note: The "ONE" Family spared from the flood.
Shem (Genesis 10: 10-11) Lived 600 Years. Shem's name means "renown, fame, famous"
When putting the meaning of these names in a Phrase this is how it reads. >>>>>>Man [is] appointed a mortal man [in his] dwelling place. Praise God, [He] descended to discipline and train-up.
[His] death will send away, cast out, the depressed, the despairing. The One [Jesus] will comfort us and give us rest renown name.
    >>>The sons of God in Genesis 5 point to the Son of God>>Nephilim/Giants an offspring list.
Explaining the wordf Nephilim (Hebrew) and the word Giantes/Giants (Greek/English), how the words are used in context, explaining Genesis 6 that are refer to Geneis 5, because there were no chapter breaks and verse breaks when Genesis was originally written. Have to remember the OT was written in Hebrew and the NT was written in Greek, also what is different of the OT and NT is that the animal sacrifices/burnt offerings (First Covenant) are found in the OT, while the sacrifice of Jesus (New Covenant) is found in the NT. The First Covenant was just temporary used for atonement, worship, prayer and sanctification, was only good until the next sacrifice was offered, and they had to be offered repeatedly. The other purpose of the "First Covenant" was looking forward and foreshadowing the "New Covenant" which is the final sacrifice and the Promise in Jesus on the Cross for the FINAL payment for sin.
Genesis 6:4 The Nephilim/Giants were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.
This is broken down in two sections, Section A and Section B.
---SECTION A: Explaining the Nephilim, a Hebrew word meaning 'those who have fallen' or 'the fallen ones.
Strong's Concordance for Nephilim (Hebrew) is H5303 and is derived from the word Nephal is H5307. Nephal is to fall, lie or cast down.Naphal is a Hebrew word.Using the Hebrew word Naphal which you get the Hebrew word Nephilim.
Job1:20 "Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he FELL to the ground and worshiped."
The word "FELL" in Job 1:20 when translated to Hebrew is the word Naphal. Job also presented God with burnt offerings found in Job 1:5, which is fitting Job 1:5 is right before Job 1:6. Job 1:6 and Job 2:1 mentions "sons of God", basically this is about the "First Covenant" of the animal sacrifices/burnt offerings.
Hebrew use is the Nephilim would fall (Naphal) to the ground like Job 1:20 mentions, so it would be in a state of worship, probably on their knees.
A person can find the "First Covenant" in Job 1:5 "And when the days of the feast had run their course, Job would send and consecrate them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my children have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus Job did continually."
Job is a "Patriarch" and had priestly duties, and in a covenant relationship with the Lord God. NOTICE in Job 1:5, Job with the "First Covenant" when presented the animal sacrifice/burnt offering unto the Lord, the sacrifice "Sanctified" Job's children. Sanctify means to set apart as or declare holy; consecrate, make legitimate or binding by religious sanction, free from sin; purify, cause to be or seem morally right or acceptable. This entire list of Sanctification/Sanctified is all qualifications for "sons of God" as well as preistly duties, angels do not have preistly duties, sanctification and the "First Covenant"
Noah also who is listed in Genesis 5 also offered (First Covenant) the animal sacrifices/burnt offerings unto the Lord right after the flood when Noah got out of the ark, found in Genesis 8:20 "Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and took some of every clean animal and some of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar."
In Genesis 6:4 the Nephilim (Hebrew) are in a position of worship or falling to the ground while presenting (First Covenant) a sacrifice/burnt offering to the Lord God. Man has twisted the meaning of the word and changed the meaning of the word "Nephilim" to some a giant form of hybrid that is a result of angels and human women procreating. That is how deception works and many are mislead and deceived. By twisting and changing the word Nephilim which is a state of worship towards God, it is now a word that takes away the worship to God and how man worshiped and was presented before God in that day or time period. Man also mixes in the Greek/English word "Gigantes/Giant" to make this sound believable with this giant hybrid.
---SECTION B: Explaining the word Gigantas/Giant (Greek/English) is primarily referring to YEARS. The word Giant (English) comes from the Greek word gígantas/gigantes>>>AB Number G1095.2 Genesis 6:4 γίγαντες - giants
When translated into Greek as gigantez, gigantes, or 'giants in Genesis 6:4. That is how we get the English word Giants. The use of this Greek/English word Giants in CONTEXT is Primarly referring to Years or the life spans of Genesis 5, but the people of that day since they had such a longevity of life might have had a different physical stature, Adam and Eve may have been up to 10-12 feet tall, so stature/height could apply as well.
Genesis 5 has a genealogy list that tells of individuals that lived these enormous/Giant life spans. Genesis 5 is probably the "sons of God". The word Giants is just explaining the "sons of God" and the geneolgy line (offspring list) of Geneis 5. Even Noah and others of Genesis 5 lived a Giant and enormous life spans before and after the flood. Life spans started to Shrink after the flood up until today. Methuselah who lived the longes (Genesis 5: 21, 25-27) Lived 969 Years, a "Giant" life span compared to today.
Moses who is the Author of Genesis also is the Author of Psalm 90, which was also originally written in Hebrew. Moses mentions life spans in Psalm 90 as well. "Psalm 90:10 The years of our life are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty; yet their span is but toil and trouble; they are soon gone, and we fly away."
We notice the life spans got "shrunk", they were not so "giant" anymore.

    IN SUMMARY
With using both Hebrew and Greek/English there is more than one meaning or use of the words Nephilim and Gigantes/Giants. There is a DOUBLE meaning and use on how the words Nephilim and Gigantes/Giants is used in Genesis 6:4 , because of Hebrew, Greek and English or to say which language is used, it is basically a play on words of the Hebrew, Greek, and English languages.
Looking at Geneis 6:4 using (PARANTHESES) as Commentary in Genesis 6:4
Genesis 6:4 The Nephilim (First Covenant/fallen ones/Patriarchs) Giants (Years/enormous life spans/Genesis 5 Patriarchs) were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God (Genesis 5/Patriarchs) came in to the daughters of man (daughters of Adam/women) and they bore children (Human/Genesis 5) to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.
In the Old Testament, the Hebrew term used for “sons of God” is “bene elohim,” while in the New Testament, the Greek term used is “huios theou”. However, both terms refer to the same concept: Human beings who possess a special and covenant relationship with God referring to BOTH the "First Coveant" of animal sacrifices/burnt offerings found in the OT and the "New Covenant" which is the Sacrfice of Jesus on the Cross found in the NT.

Genesis 18:8 NKJV So he took butter and milk and the calf which he had prepared, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree as they ate.
Milk, steaks and butter for spirits? Obviously Angels have physical functioning bodies. Even a digestive tract. They even eat meat, and for a purpose, their bodies require energy to properly function as is the design of things. They probably even.. you know, excrete the remains..

Andy Woods is pretty much wrong and his error on this topic. Christians continue to use the same 3 views (Angel view, king/ruler view or line of Seth view), because someone of how the sons of God were believed in the past
The word Adoption is always left out when explaining the sons of God as well as the animal sacrifices. Lets look at Job on identifying the sons of God with the help of Paul.
Blameless and Upright are mentioned 3 times in the book of Job. Job 1: 1, 1: 8 and 2: 3. Blameless and Upright are words used to describe Job. KJV uses "Perfect" instead of Blameless. The word "Upright" means "Righteousness" or "Righteous".
Job 1: 1 "There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was BLAMELESS and UPRIGHT, and one who feared God and shunned evil.
    Job 1: 8
"Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a BLAMELESS and UPRIGHT man, one who fears God and shuns evil?”
    Job 2: 3 "
Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a BLAMELESS and UPRIGHT man, one who fears God and shuns evil? And still he holds fast to his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to destroy him without cause.”
The word BLAMELESS connects to what Paul writes in Ephesians.
Ephesians 1: 4-5 4 "just as He chose us in Him BEFORE the FOUNDATION of the WORLD, that we should be HOLY and without BLAME before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to ADOPTION as SONS by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,"
Ephesians 1: 4-5 is a perfect fit with Job 1: 5-6. Paul in these verses is explaining qualifications of being HOLY (SANCTIFY) and without BLAME as well as ADOPTION of SONSHIP>>>>>sons of God. The "us" Paul is referring to are the ones of SONSHIP. This can also refer to the Children of God. Also since God choose "us" BEFORE the foundation of the World to be in Christ to be HOLY and BLAMELESS this should take a person to Genesis 1:1.
Job presented animal sacrifices and burnt offerings unto the Lord God. Job 1: 5 "Job 1: 5 So it was, when the days of feasting had run their course, that Job would send and SANCTIFY them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus Job did regularly.
Job was RESPONSIBLE for his household and their sins, Even Adam was RESPONSIBLE for Eve in the Garden when SIN entered the World. Job being the head of the household/Patriarch it was his duty to offer and present the sacrifices to the Lord God. The animal sacrifices and burnt offering atoned for sin and sanctified Job's household. Sanctify means to make "Holy", just like what Paul describes in Ephesians 1: 4 "that we should be HOLY and without BLAME before Him in love." This also says this "He (God/Father) chose us in Him (Jesus/Son) BEFORE the FOUNDATION of the WORLD," what this means is BEFORE the creation of the World.
Verse 5 of Ephesians 1 says that God "ADOPTION as SONS by Jesus Christ." What God had in mind is an "Adoption Plan" to Holy and Blameless BEFORE the earth was even created. This "Adoption Plan" points (Predestinates) to Jesus, so do the animal sacrifices and burnt offerings points (Predestinates) to Jesus. The animal sacrifices and burnt offerings foreshadow the Sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross. There is a blood covenant with shed blood between sinful man and Holy God. Today the Blood covenant that matters is with the Sacrifice of Jesus and the Blood He shed on the Cross. In the OT the Faithful were looking Forward to the Cross. Today the Faithful look back to the Cross.
Job offered and presented these sacrifices "Regularly Job 1: 5">>>>>"For Job said, “It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus Job did regularly." Regularly means constant, definite pattern, accordingly, routinely or repeatedly. Since Job offered and presented these animal sacrifices and burnt offerings unto the Lord God, this leads into the next verse.
Job 1: 6 "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them."
What is happening in Job 1: 6 is that Job is presenting a animal sacrifice and burnt offering unto the Lord God, The sons of God (Job and his household) are in the "Adopted Status" when they are "Presenting" themselves. The scene is on the earth and the realm of the earth. Some think this scene is in the 3rd heaven, that is not correct. Paul helps us on this as well.
2 Corinthians 12: 2-4 "I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows such a one was caught up to the third heaven. 3 And I know such a man whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows 4 how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter."
The word heavens can be used to refer to different realms. Heaven can refer to the sky and the earth’s atmosphere, making it the "first heaven" (Deut. 11: 11, Psalm 104: 12, Isaiah 55: 10).
Heaven can also refer to outer space, where the stars and planets are the "second heaven" (Psalm 8: 3, Isaiah 13: 10). Heaven can refer to God’s dwelling place, which is beyond the other 2 "heavens," a place known as the "third heaven" (Psalm 33: 13-14, Isaiah 66: 1, Matthew 6: 9, Hebrews 7: 26, Revelation 11: 19).
With the conversation with Satan and God, the conversation was the "first heaven", while the sons of God (Job and his household) are in "Adopted Status" presenting themselves with animal sacrifices and burnt offerings. Even when Satan tempted Jesus it was in the realm of the earth found in Matthew 4: 1-11.
What is really interesting with the book of Job is that Blameless and Upright are mentioned 3 times in the book of Job. Job 1: 1, 1: 8 and 2: 3.......so are "sons of God" mentioned 3 times in book of Job....Job 1: 6, Job 2: 1 and Job 38: 7. Something else to point out is that God is 3 persons Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
So what it comes down with the Help of Paul in Ephesians 1: 4-5 is that the sons of God in the book of Job are in "Adopted Status", not an angelic status like so many are lead to believe. In Hebrew language the sons of God is "bene elohim" referring to the Adopted. This is also true for Genesis 6, because Genesis 5 list the head of households/Patriarchs from Adam to Noah and Noah's sons. The animal sacrifices and burnt offerings also displayed "Faith", "Obedience" and "Belief" towards the Lord God. These sons are credited "Righteousness" by their "Faith", "Obedience" and "Belief" towards the Lord God. Even Moses who wrote the first 5 books of the Bible, he was even Adopted.
A person can see "Sanctification" and "Justification" (Justification by Faith) with sons of God in "Adopted Status" in the OT and NT. "Glorification" is yet to happen for the "Adopted" sons of God, that happens when the sons receive a "Glorified" body, which is part of the inheritance. Sanctification, Justification and Glorification are Supernatural Realities of the Lord God.

When I see a man write a dissertation on something very simple I figure he has been born with a deformity, too many mouths and no ears. Be well.

when the bible talks about the fallen ones that left their 'abode' their normal spirit type existence and took on a form of human to breed with human females. never again to be able to return to a spirit form, those fallen angels God has locked away in everlasting chains until the day of judgement , because not only before the flood but also after, God put a STOP to this evil offspring

I'm sure that the Angels of Genesis six were probably very handsome angels because the saw that the daughters of men were beautiful and wasn't Lucifer the most beautiful of all the angels?

human beings were clearly the problem here-not angels.

Except Lucifer did not participate. Allotted pawns of his will did. If the book of Enoch correct Azazel was the perpetrator.

Angels are able to take on physical form ... Demons are roaming about seeking a body to inhabit ... Demons are the disembodied spirits of the off spring of the fallen angels ...
