No matter what you say, Going to US for a tourist visit is okay , Enjoy and come back.
But I am strictly against staying in US for long term due to below reasons . I myself gone to US total 3 times and saw many families settle there and start speaking bad about India.
-> People completely ignore their old parents staying in India after gone to US.
-> One of my friend, dad was waiting for his son to see him personally for nearly 3 years, and finally he died. His son always said , he is busy , busy, busy whenever father called in phone and finally came after all formalities completed after his dads death as he didn’t get ticket to India during the covid.
-> Kids studying in US will adopt to western culture and our indian culture is completely gone.
-> There is no social gathering in US like India.. Occasionally you will have a gathering but people mostly stay in their own houses and dont mingle up often like India.
In short -> People who are only interested in money making thing can go to US and stay for long term.
People who values their parents and culture can stay in India and work.

This info is valid probably 15 years back . if you have decent money . India is luxurious than USA.
Especially the kind of apartments and communities in Bangalore . It is amazing . Mall attached apartments , bowling alley , all high end amenities with SPA . Warm swimming pool .. all kind of sport facilities . But u need some decent money to buy the apartment ..Moreover after COVID companies in india is giving permanent WFH option so no commutation issue (Mostly for IT ) .

My point is Middle class and Higher Middle class life is changed in India from last 15 years . Many people adopted sporting activity as their life style. I see so many group with cycling , running , trekking , swimming , Racket games , Travelling ..
The number of BMW , Audi and other luxurious cars is increasing drastically in Bangalore.. I really wonder how are they managing..

All Disadvantageous , except VISA issues, are sugar coated words -- These are not disadvantage only .. people willingly went to USA for Pure MONEY and Quality of life -- second generation Americans will certainly face trouble there as there is no competition like what we have in India . Education is free and hence children tend to take it lightly - Very few second generation children's who are born and brought up in USA actually shined .. in one word it can be summed -- ITS MONEY that is it ..

    • @DileepKarpur

Namaskara Suresh! To be honest sugar coat alla.. only those who are going through will understand the gravity of it. Also generalize madodu beda.. 2nd gen kids value a lot to education.. eshtu jana top university ge hogirodu gottu namige. We might not know who made it to the top.. but making it to the top is not everything alwa. They are contributing extremely well to the economy.. Talk to someone who has lived in USA for 10+yrs... For them it's not money but everything else like kids education and future.

@@DileepKarpur its going to be tough for Indian American . Already Mr. Agarwal of Twitter is questioned for blocking account of ex president of USA. Too many UNICORNs are coming from India as well.. No Indian American will question their boss for his competency as his job will be at stake. Its pure adjustment and toleration at work and getting satisfied with luxury that you get there.. Those who stood up against the system with right reason sll perished. Too many examples are there to quote.. People who went after 1996 IT BOOM all are opprortunist and they somehow got H1B visa whether they deserve it or not. I know too many cases where many mediocare people got through H1B and many brilliant people.could not. Its pure luck and we can not glorify luck here. Then a natural question comes what is so special about USA? Anwer is simple. its money and luxury... that is it.. I personally do not want to here any morality lessons from these people. You enjoy your life like what i doing here in Bangalore..

I agree with advantages. There are some more disadvantages
    1. You will not get domestic help in USA easily. It’s very expensive
    2. If your parents/relatives are not well you can’t visit them easily.
    3. Retirement is costly and expensive. So may need to work additional years which is nothing but trading your time for money
    4. No holidays for Indian festivals
    5. Max one generation will have some connections to India or Indian culture.
    6. Less number of marriage functions, festival celebration, other functions as relatives/friends are less compared to India
    7. With India economy is doing well lifestyle will be more or less will be similar in 20 years

Yeh, children will have no idea about relationships.they have only friends. But otherwise lot of activities available for them.
We visit hindu temple also. There are many here . Don't forget about the good salary u get for a talented person.!!.
Only drawback is missing parents .
Even the grass cutting person or home cleaning person gets
80 to 100 dollars per HOUR.
As u said every job is respected.

Racism might be a bit true in middle America, but in big cities and in workplaces, racism is not rampant. It is certainly less than the injustice of reservation in India. A middle class Brahmin student trying to get a merit seat in India is much better off applying to US universities. Many Indians are in top positions (CEOs etc) in American companies. Racism has not stopped them from rising on their merit. Nor is there much truth to immigrants earning less than locals. Indians are the highest earning ethnic group in the US. We all earn market rate salaries in the US. Racism happens but is not more than in India. Yes, distance and family bonds are an issue, but with modern technology, my girls do have strong relationships with grandparents and cousins. Time difference is a bigger problem though.

      If one has
held a job all their life @ retirement there is something called MEDICARE, which pays for health care, Untill medicare comes into effect sfter retirement, there is MEDICAID, limited health care, which has a cap, If health care expense goes beyond the cap, one has to sell the house to pay.
But one must have hood efucation, hood kib all their luge & then one has good health care in USA.

Boss america is a huge country, ... So you cannot generalize.. you must be staying is a small town like or village like place and 80% of the people who come to USA will not go to such places but go to bay area. Please be clear when making such videos, if you go to a small town in India you can also give lot of time for family.
    Bay area
traffic's - is almost same as bangalore, it would take 1.5hrs to go 7miles and to get out of a school parking lot it would take 30mins
School - in India also schools are free, in bay area since it full of Indians there is big preference for private schools, and we have to spend 1800$ per month and there is peer pressure to put kids in private school
Food - only indian restaurant all around, you think of anything you will get just like Bangalore
Cost of living - everyone cannot affod a house , a small 1000 SQ ft house costs 1.5 million avg and to rent a single bedroom with washer and dryer costs 2800$
Quality of life- due to traffic most if time goes on road, if both husband and wife working by the time you reach home it will be 7:00-7:30 pm and since housing is so expensive people tend to live in a house smaller than they lived in India

@@DileepKarpur Sorry bro I would feel proud and happy and blessed to stay in a village, i am comparing Austin's to our villages and towns , like malnad and other calm and beautiful places... I have seen most part of USA, i know abt every place, I am telling life in USA is not the same everywhere, so do not give that perspective to people... So you are living in a place like puttur or chikmangular and giving a perspective how Bangalore is... If you see only people outside of bay area make videos of America like this... With one salary people live a life of a lower middle class in bay area,. If you want to live just little over middle class both husband and wife have to work.
schools you said are free, in India also govt schools are free, but why do people send to private schools in India, the same reason people said to private schools here, atleast till 6 grade people try to send to private because we have seen a diff with the kids who study in private and govt schools and that creates pressure to send to private schools...
If you are coming to USA and to bay area, be prepared for a life same as bangalore sometime worse, No much diff in traffic, work place culture, savings, food( this is the best part any place you go will find a Indian restaurant at walkable distance), lifestyle, cost of living, crowd , safety.... Please think before coming because if you come here disadvantages are more than advantages.... It's easy to move places in your 20's but once you hit 30's life is different and moving from one place to another becomes a little bit difficult due to many reasons... So please do your research before making a move... India has more opportunities and it's a beautiful country, no words can explain the beauty of our country... And as i said 80 %of people will land in bay area if coming for software jobs.. Life is not easy here than in India... You can ask any person from bay area for a honest opinion they would give this....
With the kind of video you people make, people in India think life is USA is super luxury, just want to say that is not true.

    • @DileepKarpur
      @DileepKarpur  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Bro here is my take.. I've been in Bay area, San Diego, Raleigh and now in Austin . Indians are in every single state.. Austin itself houses more then 1.5k Kannadigas and you can imagine other language folks. Bay area is like speck compared to US and there are folks who are leading good life as well.. not everybody is earning low with single income. Having said that there are challenges but you cannot compare a life in village in India to living in cities like Austin.. I'm not exaggerating anything here.. big cities like Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Detroit, new Jersey, DC, Atlanta.. all lead a similar life.

    • @trueindian3073
      @trueindian3073 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@@DileepKarpur I don't understand why you are so offended by the word village, and i am just giving a analogy, We should be proud of villages, it's the pride of culture and roots, it a place where you are connected to people, may be after few years you will understand what i am saying...
The most peaceful and luxury place on earth are villages and small towns.. Luxury is not owning a car or big house, but it's being connected to people and feeling a senses of happiness from inside..
In Bangalore there are many who earn a lot... But most population do no.. so do not see only the people who make a lot of money... So i am saying it not worth coming to USA( bay area) leaving your family for a lifestyle which is almost same as India..
Make vlogs of just your life and the place you stay and do not generalize..

I guess you are mistaking individuality to equal opportunity. The very fact that you like most indians equated good quality life as time with family and restricted to going to park & other activities speaks volume. Indian upbrining, doesn't inculcate risk taking ability or family attachment. E.g. You preferred to miss your siblings wedding rather than loose your job that offers you green card. Really sorry state of affairs and we talk of family. I have also seen people not visit their terminally I'll parents or their funeral. Absolutely not exaggerating, by own cousins, friends. This is general indians thinking. Americans in general whites in particular ( don't want to sound racial but observations compel.. )don't fake love for family they too are as much attached or unattached like us. But they are passionately involved in profession hence so many earth shattering invention and innovations by them. They are the pioneers in every walk of life where as most of us are just technical clerks. Many of my non indian colleagues at san Francisco and NY would work for some time only to quite and continue, explore , pursue there passion. Living life at our own pace and terms. As you said living conditions are far better in USA, but what attracts me most is their individualism and the way they are brought up. Highly Individualistic, mindful , good civic sense.
Sorry, didn't mean yo offend anyone, my opinion.

Hello maya avare. I agree with the fact that our upbringing has a little role to play here because most of the families are going from lower middle class to middle class and somewhere having a permanent job became more important to our lifestyle. Comparing with people born here is not Apple to Apple comparison because most of them visit their family only Thanksgiving for a day or two. In fact, we get our parents here for 6 months or when we go to India we stay there for at least 3 weeks. So the bonding culture is completely different and not comparable. Thank you for sharing your perspective.

Another word for Individualitic is " SELFISHNESS" ..This is too much in America .. Thre is no cricket team they play for -- each indiviidual play for themselves - Even in office everybody busy with themselves and not even help each other a bit -- I have seen it .. Senior exeutives are busy in their business committment and not interested in subordinates growth-- Firing juior staff is extremely easy .. eveeyone lives for that week only - Next week is different life and Weekend is so BIG as if something great will happen during the weekend . Its money and money only is the attraction. Otherwise why everything is outsourced to other parts of the world ? even bolt and nuts are made in China and high end Apple phone and BOING parts exported to USA .. Dealing with cheap labor is the business of USA businessman .. Everything is business .. even Funeral is also business . Passionately involved in work - Happened in INDIA as well -- Go and see 760 KM KONKAN RAILWAY -- great engineering work by selfless legendary personality by name E SRIDHANRN sir .. Go and See how ISRO works .. Go and See how DRDO works .. a 700 Acre petrochemical complex of Reliance in JAMNAGAR is more than world class. Do not compare worst of India with best of USA ..

@@sureshpolali4616 That is the point, we always look for spoon feeds. We too are interested in money as much as they are if not more, else we would not have left indian shores to just make a pat stub to pay stub living hoping will not be laid off the following morning. Point I am trying to make is where is our original work? I am not saying we can't do it, but we are not moulded in that form of thinking? List pioneers in any field of indian origin, emulating others is not big creation. Also remember, Edision used to sell candy in train, but has 100s if patent to his name. No one botherd to ask who his parents are, his social status or university degree or bank balance was. Nor did he ever cribe about his poverty. But went on to become one of the top inventors. No body gets anything on platter. It is only we who expect mentors, guides, god fathers, fanacial stability and all that ... And that is the difference . Even crooks are innovative and not cheap like our crookes, who threaten ones life or betray trust.

All his experience are confined to his place and his work, doesnt apply everywhere and not to everyone. Buying a house in bay area california is like a dream now a days. work-life balance is as bad as it can get in US too in some of companies.Pollution is not all what you see, Carbon emmision is highest in US. remember not all what glitters is gold. There are more to this. Enjoy the good things in life , wherever u are and dont compare one place to another i what i wanted to say.

The flexibility with respect to medical facility is missing in any country outside India..the vast expertise, experience available with the Indian doctors is missing..if any medical opinion has to be taken in India it’s easy than in any other country outside India
