Would love to see you guys do an 18-hole scramble with a time limit and see how you score. Scramble should cut down the time of having to take a bad shot and make something work and if one goes OB or gonna take a while to find a ball it doesn’t matter as long as one is in play and quick to get to and play from. I feel like you guys could easily beat the 45 min mark on 9 holes in comparison to this vid which makes me think less than 90 min for a full 18 is doable and shoot as low as possible!
This time of year all golf is speed golf here (UK). Typically if the course is quiet after work and without rushing I get a full 18 holes completed in 2 hours. This is carrying a bag on a full course that is quite hilly to boot.
I have a 14 divided bag and I know where every club is organized. Easier and quicker to find and they don’t clank around. I timed myself. Fast but not rushed 5 mins a hole. A little less for 3’s. A little more for 5’s.
By myself with nobody in front of me I play a round in just over 2 hours. For 2 people to play 9 in 50 ish minutes is wild. To be fair, they’re shooting in the lows 70s while I’m in the low 90s
Should do timed golf...do a shotgun start and everyone races through 9 or 18 and shortest time to complete wins...scored you could average time per stroke or just go not scored just time
I play like grant (just not as good). My best 9 holes in my life I finished in 52 mins and I was +8 over par. (I just started playing in 20 largely because I found this channel and nothing else was open during covid) I was playing with no one in front of me. Just me on the course. I was just going up to the ball grabbing a club estimating my yardage and swinging.
Do a 4v4 speed golf scramble. Have one guy hit a drive, have one guy in the fairway watching where your drive ends then he hits it then have 2 guys by the green one who chips and one who puts if u do that 45 minutes is plenty of time for 9
You should do a competition on who finishes all 18 holes first but you can only move on to the next hole after making a birdie... this would require a lower tier course one would imagine.
Do good good challenge where each person plays 9 as quick as they can, and different times/scores are worth various points and can add them together at the end, so Steve may score poorly but be quick and end up on equal points with Grant who may play slower but score well
This would be a sick good good challenge. All six start at different holes with the same set time ⏲️ lowest score wins. If you miss time then your DQ'd. Lol something like that I guess. You obviously need more camera work, but what a fun video that could be.
