You can easily tell a scam if the scammer tries to gain your trust and would say that you're going to gain a lot from this but in reality, you lose everything. This is a dead giveaway that they're scamming you, like the old saying don't ever trust a stranger that you don't know.
You should do a Video on this new PS4 Facebook scam. Someone essentially puts in a location like NYC and posts “oh I don’t need this ps4/xbox, anyone want it for free?” Then when you message them saying “hey I’d love to come pick it up!” They hit you with “oh we actually used to live in NYC but I can ship it to you for $50” (depending where you are it could be hundreds!) and then you venmo them or PayPal them and boom! Blocked and never seen again. Happened to a buddy of mine tonight !

It's not salesmanship they need help with, it's basic grammar - the main reason people know they're scammers is they can't form a basic sentence.
