- As a key step in working towards the start of production, we kicked of our Controlled Fleet Trials with GreenPath Logistics, one of the largest alternative fuel-powered fleets and an early adopter of the Hyliion Hybrid technology. GreenPath embedded one of our Hypertruck ERX development units in its operations to run daily hauls for different customers in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and throughout Texas, including a load for Shell Lubricants.
With more trials launching in the coming months, these customer experiences provide the opportunity to monitor in real-time the powertrain’s performance and control strategy, as well as receive driver feedback-giving our team crucial data to further our product development.

I really love the quality and insights we get from these new HYLIION videos. For me these video could not be long enough to see footage of real life ERX applications and customer feedback. SHELL and HYLIION is the perfect fit. SHELL has high pressure to reach its ESG goals and HYLIION wants to show the world that the concept of RANGE EXTENDER is the future in trucking

I saw the vision early on and, nice.
The only scary thing I find is that in the Netherlands I work with a transport company with 450 trucks. They have 10 trucks that run on LNG, but are all not being used anymore because LNG is triple as expensive as Diesel... I hope time changes and it stays cheap in America at least.

my only disappointment is the lack of other players not seeing the RNG range extender + electric motor propulsion principle and apply to smaller non CDL vehicles like pick up trucks and vans that dun quit on ya like these fake BEV "work" vehicles that have their range torn to ribbons once u put them to work!
