I do not understand whom these politicians are fooling. If they cannot create an infrastructure that can withstand rain, how can we trust them to address something as complex and urgent as climate change? Expecting them to have viable solutions for climate change seems unrealistic when they struggle with basic infrastructure issues. We need leaders who can demonstrate competence in these fundamental areas before we can have faith in their ability to tackle larger global challenges.
