What a clean vessel you are, Sir. What a hollow bone. So much light streams through you. It’s amazing. So far, every blaze you’ve pointed to on this trail was just as you said it would be when I finally got there - Grateful
Lovely! I remember a quote from the Bible that said, “you will not get out until you have paid every last penny.” What you said about relinquishing everything reminded me of that. We really don’t get to keep anything out of this process. 😮💨
Nisargadatta is a wellspring for practice. My favourite is, "If you want peace and harmony in the world, you must have peace and harmony in your hearts and minds. Such change cannot be imposed; it must come from within.” Most of my life I thought that pointing the finger elsewhere when things go wrong (i.e., not my way) is going to help make things better. Boy, did it make a difference when I finally grokked that this not making any positive difference "in the world" at all. I still point fingers, just the direction of the pointing has changed. And lot of valuable energy is no longer wasted on huffing and puffing at others.
I actually had awakening by doing shadow work and commitment to truth, without knowing about this stuff at all. Was quite fast too, like after 1,5 years of meditation and stuff. I think it made things a lit easier for me. Also Dark Nights weren't that intense for me, I guess because I primed myself for releasing everything
@onepartyroule It made the whole process alot easier for me, because I already oriented myself to releasing resistence. So I kind of knew what the shadow is and how to let go before awakening, which made Dark Night stuff less intense for me.
@onepartyroule I had Kundalini Awakening outa nowhere started shaking in my whole body and didn't resist it. But there is nothing I did in specific, just oriented to release my shadow stuff and worked 1:1 with a realised teacher. But actually I didn't even knew he was.
This was such a special moment at the retreat for me. The idea of no purpose to “this” has made me sad at times and hearing this gave me a different perspective. So grateful for you Angelo.
Maybe I'm hearing what I wanna hear, but I've been listening to you and Jim Newman in parallel and I see no conflict in the teaching. In fact, if anything, I'm finding more and more connections between the two. Maybe it's just the phrasing...
Those two beautiful quotes blew me away 🙂 "In my world love is the only law. I do not ask for love, I give it." "When I look inside and see that I am nothing, that is wisdom. When I look outside and see that I am everything, that is love. And between these two, my life turns." ~Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj
Really landing where there is no need to run there is no need to stay, it's okay if theres pain its okay if there's "suffering" im sinking in like a tea bag lol 😆 it's not what i think, its not what i thought, i dont really know much 😄 alll is as it is and im like o ❤️🤷♀️🙇♀️😆. Anyways 😹 your a great friend on this beautiful journey ❤️🤗🙏 grateful🤸♀️💐🥰.
3:09 As long as we call it practice, we need to introduce divinity as separated from us until we realize that it's just life, we are life, and that's a divine experience. Right? 9:16 tantra (as practice) always follows vedanta until we reach sahaja samadhi. I remember being a member of another group where their religiously studied Nisargadatta until...
how is your sensory experience of the relative in the day to day? i.e if you decided to play basketball at the gy or read a book in a chatty cafe, is you're experience of calculating space/focalizing on just one thing ect still as it was, do you feel absorbed in the absolute when you engage in interaction with the busy world?
At the risk of sounding like a broken record: Nonduality is NOT absolute reality. To equate the two is deeply misleading and creates unnecessary confusion among spiritual seekers. Still, love your content. 🙏
@SimplyAlwaysAwake The name itself is already the definition: Nonduality = that which does not include duality. So by definition, it is a partial perspective. It is not that which includes and transcends all perspectives (=> absolute truth / absolute reality).
@@EnlightenedSchmuckI suspect you don’t have a clear understanding of nonduality as a realization. You’re simply comparing conceits. Once non-dual realization is dawned, you’ll probably not hold this view. It will be clear that relative/absolute are merely conceptual designations.
@@EnlightenedSchmuck Certain philosophies state that consciousness is void of all words & descriptions, including past, present, and future minds. So, what words and what mind is the best choice for everyday living? Sitting here typing this for you my friend. No right, no wrong, no duality, no non duality. Just sitting here typing this for you :) Does this answer your question? Or, does this not answer your question? Neither. Sitting wherever you are, reading this 👍
@SimplyAlwaysAwake Of course, "absolute reality" is also a concept. But unlike nonduality, it is a very open and inclusive concept. Absolute reality = absolutely everything, which means that it includes relative truth. Nonduality on the other hand is ironically an expressedly dualistic concept since it makes a clear distinction between that which is dual and that which is not dual, thus creating a conceptual split within reality, so to speak (duality over here, nonduality over there). Of course, at the end of the day it doesn't really matter what you call it since what we are pointing to here has no name and no description (and also no opposite). I just think that calling it "nonduality" creates much more confusion than calling it "absolute truth/absolute reality", since the word nonduality very clearly implies an opposite to what it refers to. Anyway, I still love you, brother. 😁😘
Thank you 🙏

Would you say how you primed yourself for what came?

@ Thanks for sharing. Is there anything specific you did, or did you realise it had somehow happened after the fact without really knowing how?

@ Interesting. I’m yet to experience kundalini. Was there a practice you were doing as it happened?

I love how I've been following your videos recently and as such have seemed to aligned with the direction or train of thought with your videos.
Simply gorgeous 🥹💫🙏🏽
I love it when you talk a bit more about the relative aspects of realization. Thanks!

Listening to Every Piece Matters by Plini while watching his. Perfect background music, if you don't find it too distracting.

Damn. This video was for me.
At the moment I can't tell the difference between practice and breathing. It's just living moment to moment with Intuition.

I have a question, if you see let's say a man in a parking lot hits a woman, do you go help her or do you turn away?
The Bodhisattva Vow.

how to fix "7th level of hell" issue, consumed by primal infant energy... no idea how to move past it without burrying it again
