Cebu Showdown - Comparing Seda Ayala Center Cebu vs Seda Central Bloc

- Cebu City has 2 Seda Hotels the Seda Ayala Center and Seda Central Bloc both offering 4-star accommodation in the city. This video I will compare both Seda Hotels in Cebu and see which is the better one to stay at.
One is located next door to Ayala Centre Cebu one of the premier shopping malls in Cebu. One of its highlights is the Terraces area a place full of cafes and restaurants. Seda Central Bloc Cebu is located at IT Business Park a world-class business complex that provides a conducive environment for IT and BPO companies. Both hotels are located in great areas to stay in Cebu. Each having their own outdoor swimming pool and gym. They have their Misto restaurant which serves up some of the best buffets in Cebu City.
I’ll show best rates for these 2 hotels including on their own website as well as 3 party booking sites such as TripAdvisor, Agoda and Booking.com.

I didn't overly like the look of the sofa and chairs at Seda Central Bloc, but perhaps they're better than they appear on camera.
Once again, a terrific review. Explanation such as how lengthy a pool is adds to the quality, as does the way you show hotel buffets.
This sort of video would be of huge help to say a businessman who had to visit one of the Cebu City call centres, or leisure travellers looking to have a night or two in the city prior to heading to a resort elsewhere on Cebu Island, Mactan Island or another one in the Philippine archipelago.
They are the run of the mill type furniture
We stayed @ the Central Block location during X-mas and was impressed by its modern rooms and the buffet. The 2 bedroom suite was very roomy.
Yeah that's one of the advantages is it's new. They did open unfortunately right at the wrong time with the pandemic! I thought the 1 bedroom was pretty spacious so that two bedroom I can imagine was huge. Take care
I looked back at your video eight years ago when the Marriott was in that building. It looks like the Seda kept up the quality of the Marriott.
Yes they made a few minor changes but keep it pretty much the same. If it ain't broke...as they say.
Marriott had live bands in the lobby every night ✅ Seda has live music 🎵 outside near the pool Thursday Friday Saturday
I remember when Seda Ayala was Marriott. It was great.
Haven’t stayed there since it became Seda.
It's still good as the Seda. Marriott recently opened a resort in Mactan under their Sheraton brand. It's real nice too!
The one near Ayala Mall and Rustan's used to be Marriott Hotel. Mel Gibson came in via the helipad on the roofdeck (personal knowledge). Much better ambiance and views, personally speaking. It feels more quaint.
New Year's (2021) breakfast buffet devoured at Seda Central Bloc. Not too crowded but not too many food options 😢. It's near Sugbo Mercado (another food hub) and the Avida Towers 1 & 2, and Riala -- all inside the IT Park Complex.

@@FindingParadise most Hollywood VIPs would opt for Shangri-la Mactan and Marriott. Could be for some unannounced press functions and or personal leisure travel.
That Seda in Ayala used to be the Marriott Hotel. Stayed there couple times way back.
Made it easier for Seda, they didn't need to build the hotel from scratch!

No bum gun at the Seda IT Park in the standard deluxe room. Shocking.
Do they have a parking garage
At IT Park they have a designated parking area in the Basement 1 Parking Area of Ayala Mall Central Bloc.

I was at Seda central bloc last friday, i didn't like it.
I looked at TripAdvisor mostly good but there are a few bad reviews.
