here is my info from playing the game for over 2 hours: red guy does in fact follow you. if you stay in the same place for too long or backtrack, you may hear the music get more intense with a heartbeat, meaning you are closer to red guy. the top-to bottom rectangle scan is the only scan that will reveal red guy. in other scans, he shows up as a black silhouette amongst the particles. you can walk through him when he is not revealed, and he is practically harmless. if you reveal red guy by accident, you will enter the chase phase. according to what i have seen, red guy can kill you by either scanning him, or simply walking into him during this phase throughout gameplay, the music will have frequent disturbances, such as a woman crying, a screech noise, and running footsteps. during my few hours of playing i have found that these noises don’t correspond to any certain event, and may just be part of the soundtrack. although, some people have stated that it may be red guy doing things. if you have any questions about the achievements, then i dont know. i found many interesting areas and secrets, such as a forest, a house, a church, and a room packed with chairs, but no achievement.
Just to let u guys know I’ve survived and kept looking around the game for 30 minutes THERE is a exit but you can’t reach it and you can’t jump so idk how to get up there but good luck for those that try to make it note: I did see a ladder on the floor but I didn’t know how to pick it up
Unironically even scarier than the GMOD addon it's based off of thanks to the 'hunting' phase. I wonder if both the hunting and game over sequences are triggered only by the burst scan like in LiDAR though?
Sure, scary in a way that's an immediate flight or fight response, but the atmosphere is completely thrown out of the window with the whole "big monster scary face is after you you need to run awaye!!!"

At its core, yes, the second phase is a 'scary monster is after u!!' situation that's in every WASD controlled first person horror game ever. But the presentation is what really seals the deal here. If you go into this game without knowing a single thing about it, you're not just getting chased, you're being chased and have *zero* information about it. All of your scanning is erased, leaving you to stumble around in the dark all while a loud roaring pressures you into anxiously scanning your surroundings as fast as you can. You know SOMETHING is going on, you have a FEELING something's chasing you since the audio is literally screaming it at you, but the only feasible way to run away from whatever it is- and you have no idea *what*- is to do the exact same thing that inevitably reveals the monster. And then when it actually hits, there's no fullscreen jumpscare. Just a spooky face from the Walten Files, a loud music box, and a message saying you've been kicked from the game, and that frame stays on your screen until you leave. I went into this game knowing what happens and still wussed out in the second phase (although I'm not a horror buff and NEVER will be, which is also why I noped out of LiDAR after triggering the second phase too). LiDAR is terrifying too since it leans into the 'you're being followed' type of lingering horror and I've since backtracked on classifying this game above it cuz playing favorites is mad unfair with the work put into both of them, but you gotta admit that the chase phase is a serious anxiety inducing surprise for both regular Roblox players and LiDAR players alike lol I could never play this through, horror games just aren't my thing
Except it's alot better in LiDAR for three reasons, one, LiDAR isn't an asshole and crashes your game, second, LiDAR runs better, third, LiDAR doesn't have just a cheap jumpscare and screamer when you trigger the Stalker, it much more emphasizes on the atmosphere and the situation that you are in. Basically *It doesn't scare you, it makes you fear.*

It would be pretty hard trying to guess where the entity lurks even without scanning, I think it's more luck based, but I would be more careful where to scan too. The concept for a maze to be a horror and being based of a GMOD mod is pretty good so far, yet it's a demo.
Using R to scan radially does not "trigger" the red entity. Neither does random scan or freehand. In order to tell if he is nearby, listen closely. Among the sounds you may hear, like gunshots, dragging, crying, and doors... You will hear a heartbeat. That sound means that the entity is nearby.
I found a house with a table, a chair, and something else I couldn't tell, trees surrounding it, and fence, there was a gap and it just let to more and more trees, just like a forest, and I also saw a pile of blood in one area, or at least, it looked like it and it was red.

While the roblox version of LiDAR is pretty good, I still find the GMOD LiDAR to be scarier, I always notice roblox horror games seem to try very hard at being scary, the GMOD LiDAR is extremely simple, and while it only really has one jumpscare (which is hardly a jumpscare), it also tries very hard to hide the fact that there is something else with you, the workshop page saying absolutely nothing about it, other than you just being able to scan the map. It does a great job at being unexpected with absolutely no build up to the jumpscare.
This game is based on a entity who stalks in dark. You need to escape of the maze. Tip: dont use square scan it triggers the red Guy. Also notice how if you find a red Guy it will mass kick you AT first. But AT the second round it will appear. I wouldnt recommend using square scans in round 2. Search up lidar for more info
apparently if you scan entity01 one time, it just crashes your game, if you press leave it doesnt leave but resets your scanning, but if you scan it again thats when the face from walter files appears and your game "crashes"
Heres what ive got for a game theory: The red entity (01) used to be a person, as well as the blue entities. 01 somehow when crazy, and killed the blue entitys (I found an object that looked like a gun on a table, and it would explain the screaming and children crying often heard in the bg). 01 then went crazy, and they killed themself with the nose. thats all ive gathered for now, this game has such a cool concept and I cant wait for more info to come to surface!

Then i scanned and it showed the red figure and kicked me from the game, and played this ear piercing scream. Should have expected it. @@asid5067 No, it doesn't add a new mechanic, actually it removes one. In the original it can attack, if you happen to scan it, the game will show a fake restart screen and I assume we are some kind of robot here because LiDAR is a real thing that robots and other things use to scan their surroundings. So basically this entity could be attacking us and damaging our systems and thus making us restart. And even if this theory isn't accurate, it still is probably some kind of attack that the entity does. But anyways, the thing the roblox copy removes is the atmosphere. LIDAR just has this terrifying atmosphere that the roblox copy completely throws out of the window. It tries to be creative with the fake kick message but it just flops in comparison to LIDAR, another element of this atmosphere that it destroys is the fact that in LIDAR, there is the terrifying fact that the entity could be right infront of you and you'd have no idea. And in the roblox copy there is a heartbeat that gets louder and louder the closer you get to the entity, like what the hell? This is supposed to be a horror game, not walk in a certain direction simulator. And the biggest flaw of the copy is the fact that you can't play the game after you scan the entity, it freezes your game forcing you to close it manually, and the other thing is that it's just a cheap scare when you scan the entity, in LIDAR when you scan him -- it's the most subtle, elegant and effective scare ever, it only lasts for a fraction of a second and it has no loud audio and doesn't crash your game for the extra shock value. Well that is all, though, the copy has much more issues that make it inferior but I couldn't really fit all of them so here is one example: So LIDAR is a Garry's Mod gamemode, which means it can be played on pretty much any map you download, this adds quite a bit of replayability. However, you can't do this on the roblox copy, this could be fixed by just adding some sort of main menu to the game where you can select the map, but I'm pretty sure the dev would be way too incompetent to add more maps.

I just went into a hallway that was very long and the walls were spinning like the left wall would gradually becoume the floor by rotating. and at the end when i touched the wall there was a door sound and it seems like i was transported to another place. Did I just discover something?

This game is based off the gmod game mode "sambre scanner" or whatever its called
i recently played this game, and i found a prison in the maze. inside the prison, in the corner is a blue guy (not a player) just sitting and not moving at all. i didnt have time to really scan the prison since i was getting chased 😭
I swear I believed that roblox had kicked me out of the game and when I hit the exit button I was scared to death when the game was still going on and I had to close roblox with the task manager

@@Eye5x5 I think the copy is cool too, I mean it does kind of add a new mechanic, in the original Gmod mod the man was unable to attack you at all.

In the original it can attack, if you happen to scan it, the game will show a fake restart screen and I assume we are some kind of robot here because LiDAR is a real thing that robots and other things use to scan their surroundings.
So basically this entity could be attacking us and damaging our systems and thus making us restart.
And even if this theory isn't accurate, it still is probably some kind of attack that the entity does.
But anyways, the thing the roblox copy removes is the atmosphere.
LIDAR just has this terrifying atmosphere that the roblox copy completely throws out of the window.
It tries to be creative with the fake kick message but it just flops in comparison to LIDAR, another element of this atmosphere that it destroys is the fact that in LIDAR, there is the terrifying fact that the entity could be right infront of you and you'd have no idea.
And in the roblox copy there is a heartbeat that gets louder and louder the closer you get to the entity, like what the hell? This is supposed to be a horror game, not walk in a certain direction simulator.
And the biggest flaw of the copy is the fact that you can't play the game after you scan the entity, it freezes your game forcing you to close it manually, and the other thing is that it's just a cheap scare when you scan the entity, in LIDAR when you scan him -- it's the most subtle, elegant and effective scare ever, it only lasts for a fraction of a second and it has no loud audio and doesn't crash your game for the extra shock value.
Well that is all, though, the copy has much more issues that make it inferior but I couldn't really fit all of them so here is one example:
So LIDAR is a Garry's Mod gamemode, which means it can be played on pretty much any map you download, this adds quite a bit of replayability.
However, you can't do this on the roblox copy, this could be fixed by just adding some sort of main menu to the game where you can select the map, but I'm pretty sure the dev would be way too incompetent to add more maps.

i believe the blue humanoid figures are other players as servers have a 10 player limit but the red figure is what you wanna watch out for
