0:03 love the homestar runner reference up on the shelf with the trogdor
DM is so pissed because you weren't supposed to figure out that the child had faked his kidnapping so he could start controlling his evil legions in his first foray into gaining enough power and influence for his aspirations to eventual lichdom.
0:38 my brain rot self always hears, "So skibidy"
Don't let the intrusive thoughts win son
"me and my boys are gonna rizz you up"
i was looking for this comment i feel so vindicated
This ginger-singing motha fucka looks like he hasn't slept in days.
@@3morecharacters NOO
I love the changed context by having the bard smile when guessing it's a child. Like "Ha! I know this one!".
Bro has 15 fingas 1:29
seems you got a nat 20 perception check
“It’s always a kid” I love the implication that he always insults kids to death because he assumes they’re just really short guys.
I love the fact that the person playing the bard is fully in costume at the table and nobody else is
the statistical likelyhood of that many nat 20s being rolled in a row is so unlikely it implies the bard has weighted dice
I love the animation style. It looks both so low effort and high effort I’m honestly conflicted
1:45 im glad someone gave him a chance to do a hip hop... dance, gave him a chance to do a dance
My favourite detail is the DM putting up 15 fingers to emphasise his point, somehow grows another 5 out of sheer frustration
I have no idea why the tongues are green but that honestly just adds to the experience, thank you for making such an awesome memeable song and thank Lanky for following up with just as awesome memeage!
The bards eyes turn orange when he casts vicious mockery and when holding the bag he looted from the kid.
I was playing D&D one time, and i tried to feed a child with poop for no reason and i casted a 20 after i said "HEY little Billy ? Ya want some CHOCLATE ??" (the child was like "IS that chocolate ?")
And i tried to hit the child on the head and i got arrsted. (i was 9 years old in real life.)
My freinds were so angry that they let me rot in jail for the rest of my life.
Now you know the tragic story of Alastik the bandit.
oh my god i’m so happy this animatic was the one chosen for the final music video. it was literally my favorite to watch. a notification has never excited me more.
What, LANKY MF?! I love that all these music videos are just fan animators from youtube, gotta support your artistic community
I’ve been in love with lanky’s animatic since I first watched it! So happy to see it fully animated and colored :)
When I get to play D&D as a party member, I'm sometimes a Bard. When I'm a Bard, I bring my tambourine and just leave it on the table in front of me to make everyone anxious.
Once in a while, I will actually pick it up and play with it to match what my character is doing. It's like an annoying little surprise!
the tom cardy standin is rightfully getting praise but ireally love the designs of the other people at the table. the sparse facial hair, blemishes, yellowish teeth, all these little things make them feel real and remind me of my high school friends. :)
this has officially been deemed as the funniest music video to ever exist
HELL FOCKEN YEAH MATE!
That’s the bloody sequel tae the original animation we all wanted without us knowing! 😄
This was my favourite animated version. I’m glad it became official! ❤
I love how they look so mad at the bard like they weren’t about to ruin that kids face too lol
My only regret in life is that this song isn’t 7 times longer.
YESSSS THIS WAS MY FAVORITE STYLE OF ALL THE ANIMATIONS, IT GOT A WONDERFUL GLOW-UP!!!! HELL YEAHHHHHHH
The animation on this kills me every second of the way through the 1:51 of the video. The poses, the slight movements, the visual jokes. It's too much
Mothaphuckawha?
I’m so happy I this turned into an actual animation, the animatic was one of the best I’ve ever seen and it definitely deserves this spot!
This is now going to be my prime example for when someone ask me what D&D is like.
The way the bard is casually producing 20s from his mouth is somewhat motivating me to master the art of it myself.
And this is the type of shenanigans we all need to experience with our bros regularly
"The last 15 days" *Casually holds up 15 fingers*
This is SO FANTASTIC, and it's amazing that this was finished just in time for Christmas!! (Also, I love the Trogdor in the background)
0:34 "Orctober" a man of culture I see
Honestly the typo ads to the realism. American Government can't do anything right.
0:37 "So Skibidi" 💀
Wtf dude the brainrot is taking over me😭
I love Tom works together with artists that make art with his song and pays to get a full version made. It warms my heart that he cares about supporting other artists.
I like to think that the other two people with the kid fled in terror because these random people on the road saw them, brutally killed the child, and proceeded to immediately loot the body.
Going to repeat the sentiment that I'm so glad LankyMF got to fully animate the official music video. I've seen quite a few animatics for this song but the original of LankyMF's really had just the right vibe. And honestly the rotating baby animation was hypnotizing even in the original, really flowing in-time with the music perfectly.
So i have alrealdy been consumed by the brainrot so instead of hearing "theres no escaping it" i heard "so skibidi"
This is like- the most accurate song about playing dnd ive ever heard. This is the experience.
Truly the animation we all deserve for such a banger
1:39 trogdor top right
I remember when this was just an animatic! What a glow up, this was easily my favorite one that cropped up when the original dropped so it's awesome seeing it fully completed like this ❤
The middle finger on the flute... my lord lol gold
0:48 is quite possibly the greatest thing I’ve seen on this entire site and I don’t even know why
I love that when the DM says, "YOU perceive-" that they do the most sarcastic smile in the world for exactly five frames before rapidly becoming a meltdown.
