I've ALWAYS wanted to attend this, ever since i saw an article about this festival in my local paper when i was a teen. Especially when i saw that Flaco Jimenez would be playing there. I was planning the trip, i would've attended with my grandfather, who raised me on this music. He was apart of Lenny y Los Lucky 7, & continued teaching & playing music after the band disbanded. Unfortunately he passed before the next festival. & Life has gotten in the way since then, you know? But I've never forgotten. & I'm so ridiculously happy that this festival still exists, even after these challenging past few years. It's heartening that people still smile & dance, & celebrate this music. Thank you for keeping a record of this, its so appreciated. I'll catch y'all on the next one!
@losmalqueridos2009 Absolutely, can you recommend anywhere else I should visit? In my area, we used to have clubs where my grandfather & uncle would play but, those closed for more modern music genres 🙄
@@torirosen666 Bosmans, Farwest & few others, but I would recommend Tejano Conjunto Festival more because you're guaranteed the full experience. You're gonna be with all the hard-core conjunto fans.

🤜🏽💥
I like the way the lady with the beige/white pants with black print dances; she seems to be bouncing on air.
What happened to all the younger dancers that used to go to these dances ?
They got old & the younger generations don't like conjunto music. That's my take.on it. I think it's sad but it's what's happening.
Lol how much they charge
$45 for a 3 day pass
@@user-ce4us4ng1d dam that's to much smh
$45 bucks for 3 days & 30 band's is to much? ..lol 🤣
A 3 day pass in Chicago is over $100 to go see anyone….so $45 is pocket change for me!!!

I hope you can make it happen one day. Especially since it means a lot to you. Make it a bucket list vacation.
