My bengal is the same on a lead. Sometimes he runs outside happily, other days he wouldn't want to step outside the door. Just keep trying and don't force anything. 😊
Thankyou for always sharing updates on Billy. My cat overgrooms at the moment too and I’m so grateful for any ideas and tips. I always take what you say on board. So glad he seems to be doing a little better with the over grooming and adorable seeing him give the outdoors a go. Love your videos so much💗

When you take billy outside try not to stand around him. Try sitting down and letting him wodner on the lead. Also if you can get him on your lap outside. He will respond to gour calmness. He is such a cutie!

Your hair looks fabulous Jess. Please sit down and relax when you are outside with Billy. Your own anxiety will be transferring to him. Hes on a retractable lead. Let it loose. Oh and what about an antihistamine for him for allergies xx

Is Billy neutered? Have cats ,they seem to live by routine,so Billy got bit stressed by the change,but Ur a very good owner,trying everything to help Billy,when he was up close to the camera,such a beautiful coat pattern,Ur looking fantastic too,Ur hair has a lovely shape to it,is it the butterfly cut? 😺🌷

What about a longer lead? That way if billy wants to go back in he can and tge lead isnt too short and you can sit down to keep him calm not towering over him❤
The leads already long but when he ran he sprinted in and up the stairs, no matter how long it is billy would outrun it 🤦🏼♀️

Aww Billy! I’ve never had cats before so forgive the silly question, but why can’t he go outside on his own without the harness and lead? I’m guessing he’s always been a house cat, so is it in case he doesn’t come home? X
Partially because he's a house cat yes, plus he's a purebred Bengal breed so is more likely to be stolen! Plus Bengals are known for being a bit dippy and not streetwise. A lot of people don't agree with this, but all the advice that I've had from other Bengal owners and the vets say that he should remain indoors or be outside on a harness and lead x
