For me personally I am learning to forgive before the offender apologises to me and even when they never ask for forgiveness … that one is hard Sometimes forgiveness isn’t the issue… the problem is when the other person takes your forgiveness for granted and keeps repeating the same offence or they assume because you are a Christian you will automatically forgive them so their apology isn’t genuine and there is no real intention to change
Thanks for sharing. That's a real challenge. Increasingly I'm learning that it is true - one cannot change another's character but we can manage our approach to Ill behaviour towards us and also protect our personal space. 💕
