    I USE 2 YAMAHA SUBS & SHAKE THE GYM BUT SO HEAVY TO CARRY WONDER IF SUB 2'S WOULD POUND OUT THE SAME BASS?

    Hey Bose! Any chance for Bose subwoofer.. equal to Bose RMS218? Since, racetrack drivers are out.. make a driver equal to single 21 inch driver.. 2 drivers in a single enclosure.. Bose rms218 style

      Need new Bose F2, touring grade style! Weather resistant and other missing features! 0 port noise, 0 distortion etc!

    Does the Sub1 outperform the bass performance of the Pro16? Would two Pro16s outperform a single Pro32/Sub2?

    • @zZoundsMusic
      @zZoundsMusic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Two Pro16 systems may be perceived as outperforming when inside a stereo field (you would have +3 dB more bass, but not extended frequency.) However, one Pro32 will throw farther and play louder, and will provide more high-frequency bandwidth. The Pro32 also gives you the long-term option of adding a second Sub2 to expand bass and use cardioid mode. But if you like the look of two columns and you want the flexibility of owning two systems you can use together or separately, two Pro16 systems would be a solid choice.

      Good interesting question William

      @@LuisJacob366 Two Pro16s is getting pretty expensive. I actually have never tested the Pro16. In my case if I need more bass than the Pro32/Sub2 combination I will line out to my RCF702 12" sub which equals the Sub2.

      @@WWeiss-nv5vz do you mean that rcf as702ii is equal to sub2?
      In sound? But I read Dino only gets to 150hz and Bose’s xOver cut seems higher. Some frequencies gonna be suppressed

      @@LuisJacob366 You are right, stick with the Sub2 its a beast! The RCF 702 kicks as hard as the Sub2.

    Does cardiod mode really give +10dB?

    • @TheSoulshakepower
      @TheSoulshakepower 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      You get -10db right behind the Subs when in Cardioid mode. And when stacking any Subs correctly you can get up to +6db SPL (search for Mutual Coupling). Hope that helps!

      @@TheSoulshakepower I have 2xBose S1 Pro and 1xSub1 for 2 months - I play as a DJ and sing on keyboard. I'm thinking whether to buy Sub2 or second Sub1 in the future and use it in cardioid mode.
      2xSub1 is more convenient than 1xSub2, in theory 2xSub1 = 1xSub2 when it comes to volume, but sometimes only 1xSub1 is enough. What would you advise me to do?

      @@piotrb7934 I think it will most likely depend on your application: if you mix indoors most of the time, I think the Sub1 will better match the power of your S1 Pros, and you won't be able to use the Sub2 extra power without creating an unbalanced mix with too much bass. That being said, you will benefit from the Sub2 deeper low-ends.
      If you mix outdoors most of time, I believe the Sub2 will make a real difference when your audience is at a certain distance from your system. The Sub1 will not "throw" too far. (The S1 Pro highs will keep more SPL at a distance, while the Sub1 will drop quick, the Sub2 will help you compensate with the extra power). My 2 cents :)

      @@TheSoulshakepower I changed sub1 to sub2. I haven't had a chance to check with the audience yet. It's much heavier, but it also sounds better. I think I will be pleased, especially since sometimes I will use RCF art III 422 loudspeakers for large events.

      @@piotrb7934 cool you won't regret it! I have 2x Sub2 with a L1 model II, and I love it. Bose really managed to make an easy to carry sub that goes down to 37Hz (many 18" subs don't) which is pretty impressive. I found that it works better horizontally on the floor (ground effect), and centered when possible especially when using only 1 sub. Have fun!
