The colors are amazing in Yellowstone!!! All of that color must made Claire a very happy girl! Those free camping spots were very, very nice! The view from them was amazing! Two fabulous recipes (maybe a third, too) and a star timelapse = perfection!!! Can't wait to see where you're headed next! Safe travels!

One of the best U Tube travel video! So beautiful, nice music! Very lovely couple! Would you talk about what to prepare and tips travelling to that National Park. Thanks!
One of the best van kitchen !
Awesome guys don’t forget to visit Glacier national park 🏞 in Montana
We won’t! 😁😁
Love watching your vlog😘😘😘
Excellent video! I’ve been to Yellowstone a couple times, and that sulfury smell can be a bit overwhelming in the beginning! Both of your dishes looked AMAZING Claire. Curry & Coconut are two of my most fave flavors, especially when paired with rice! The colors of your pasta dish were extremely vibrant, so I’m sure the flavor was totally on point! Cheers to you two 👍🏼👏🏼
We always love your comments Roberto! The coconut curry was incredible! Thanks for your endless support! 😁😁😁
So beautiful! Love this video. Thanks!
Do you guys have a Spotify playlist?? Love the first song!

Great job guys! Awesome video. Think I might do this trip next summer
Watching this before bed
Chad is the cutest 🥰
😁😁😁
Love you both
Love following you on your adventures, been catching up on some I have not seen. Yellowstone I have been to, and yes the smell does take a bit of getting use to. Going to find another one 😁
Thanks for sharing the camp in Yellowstone! I want to go to Yellowstone someday!
Hi, as per usual. Great pictures, love the bison they are such majestic animals ❤️ 🦬. There’s actually geysers near where I live, the town is named Geyserville. I’ve been up there to see them, there nothing like what’s at Yellowstone park. But still very cool to see, yes the smell is very strong eggs smell. You could make postcards of your pictures, just stunning at artist point ❤️. There’s also a old faithful geyser that blows every hour or so in a town called Calistoga Ca, they grew really tall trees and bushes around it so you can’t see it from the road. They charge to see it, I’ve never paid to see it. It blows high enough by the road to see it, the area is known for growing wine grapes. Town is full of wineries, a friend owns a port winery there. It’s a beautiful town, where I hope to retire in that valley 🙏. Unfortunately wild fires killed a lot of the forest in the area last year, if your ever in the Napa valley in Napa county you should put it in your list of places to see. If you like wines, it’s the best area in the county for winery hoping 😊. Every variety you can think of, the soil and climate are perfect for growing pretty much anything. Looking forward to your next video, can’t wait to see where you go next 😁. I hope chief is doing great, looks like he’s going to outgrow his home soon 😊. Stay safe, have fun 🌺
Chief certainly has grown! 😂
We have heard of Napa valley and will have to circle back sometime! Still can’t get over how many incredible places there are to see.
We're in west Yellowstone & got snowed in! 🥶❄️
Another great video! I haven’t made it to Yellowstone before. Thank you so much for sharing the highlights! Another one for the bucket list to be sure!!
Chad, how do you do your star time-lapses ? Which camera do you use? Do you use an intervalometer or a setting on your camera? How long do you run them for? I think they are really great!
Thanks!
Okay so we use a SONY A7iii and my time lapses vary from place to place, but on average I take an 8 second photo with the camera set to capture a photo every 10 seconds.
Then I typically do some math.
So we record our videos in 30 frames per second.
So if I want a 5 second time lapse I need 150 frames or photos.
So if I take 6 photos every minute than in order to get a 5 second time lapse I would shoot for 25 minutes. (150/6=25)
Hope that helps/makes sense!
@@ChadandClaire thank you so much for that detailed answer!! I also have the Sony a7iii! (i also have a Ford Transit Connect camper van.. Lol). I have an intervalometer that i still don't know how to use very well but this helps. I will practice with it more and see if i can get it figured out. Remember if you are ever coming through Jacksonville and need a place to stay or shower/ laundry let me know. 😊
Really want to visit Yellowstone and camping. Really beautiful. Thanks
I need to get back to Yellowstone, it’s been awhile!
Beautiful videos! I do love Yellowstone. You should visit next door in my backyard of Idaho. The area around Redfish Lake, and the Sawtooth Mountains near Stanley are stunning! Great free camping too. And the Sawtooth Valley is an international dark sky reserve. Amazing for astrophotography.
😁check out our new video👀
@@ChadandClaire Yay! I can’t wait to watch!!
Nicely done. I see the dish towel made the cut in the vlog. I remember the egg smell as well.
OMG! I stayed in that same campsite when I visited yellowstone but it was so packed 😭
That’s awesome! Yeah it was a busy area, but probably not as busy as it would be in the summer! Depending on when you went.
As I said on your 2nd video (about Joy) I think ... new subscriber! Now it is 2am and I need to stop binge watching you two and go to sleep 😂 happy travels!
If you think the crowd at old faithful was enthusiastic, you should hear a group of geyser gazers at er they’ve been waiting for
yeahhh steam zoneee

Keep up the good work. Love from India..❤️❤️
P.S: you can make videos on your equipments (cameras to capture photos and shoot videos), how you edit your photos etc.
Wow! So glad you found us! We will definitely make a video about our equipment in the future! Perhaps as we head into international travel! Thanks for choosing to spend your time on us!
We never get old?Do you know what is the BGM?
Salchicha 😂😂😂
Still waiting for your Spotify playlist.. stay safe. ♥️
Hey!!! Great news!! We have released our Playlists!! Check out our TH-cam homepage and then if you go to the “community” tab we created a post about it!
Otherwise they are also linked on the about page on our website! 😁
No Roosevelt Arch entering Gardiner. :( There is a hot spring to swim just inside the North Gate in the Gardiner River before Mammoth. No grizzlies or wolves? Thanks for taking me along to one of my fav places. Now what? Glacier maybe? St Marys and Many Glacier area? I dont think Road to the Sun is open yet? Safe Travels.
Sadly they were renovating the north entrance so we couldn’t drive through Roosevelt arch, but we did see it in the distance!
We will be looping back to Montana in June, but we actually headed west towards Idaho! 😁
@@ChadandClaire Probably too late now but they have Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone with live Grizzly Bears and Wolves close to free camping. It was cool sleeping there and hearing wolves howling. Safe travels.
What apps are you using to find your “free” campsites? And how hard/easy is it to find “free” sites on your journey.
We plan on making a video all about how we plan our trip in a few weeks, but we use the app/website “IOverlander” to find free spots. The west coast is much easier than the east coast!! Overall you get better at finding spots the longer you live in a van😂
Salchicha LOL I died
Hi , what kind of bug spray you use when you hiking? I am sure there are lot of flying bug or mosquites.
Hi Claire, I was wondering, (as an outlander), where do you buy all the fresh food like vegetables and meat? We'll be coming to this area september 2022. Your cookbook is coming along.
Hey Teddy! Because we drove so much, we would always plan to stop at a Trader Joes if there was one or a Walmart. Any grocery stores would work, but sometimes the selection of produce was tough. For Yellowstone I remember stopping and getting a weeks worth of groceries south of the Grand Tetons in Jackson, WY. But it depends on which way you will be entering Yellowstone from. Sorry for the late reply! Thanks for supporting what we do! :D
@@ChadandClaire thank you very much!
Hi, great videos. Can I ask you where you get your music from? Or what subscription do you have?
Hey! We use “musicbed” for all of our music!😁
@@ChadandClaire 🙏
Hi guys, how can I get a cook book. Is there a preorder?
Hey David!
Thanks for reaching out about the cookbook! Claire is getting closer to finishing it, but we expect it won’t be ready until the first few weeks of June. If you turn on notifications we’ll send out a message letting everyone know when it comes out!
😝🤔 STEAM 😬🤪👍
Not Chad photo bombing his own video 😂
How did you find free overnight camping in Yellowstone?
early! 💘💘
How do you guys find your free camping spots
We use an app called IOverlander and also look at national forest state maps to see where we are allowed to camp.
In case no one mentioned it, Yellowstone Park IS a volcano.
did you have the urge to reach out and pet the bison? When I was around your age, myself and my partner in crime went to Great Adventure Animal Safari and had a Giraffe stick his head in my friends car and we fed it bread and petted it... yeah not the smartest but I like animals a lot lol
Hahahaha we definitely both had the urge. That giraffe must have been SO happy.
@@ChadandClaire oh yeah, and I have petted a few animals I shouldn't have but amazing how they respond to being touched. I feed my wild squirrel minions and it's amazing when they come up to you for a peanut and look you in the eyes and lay their paw on your finger as they take the peanut...I luv animals
