Paul Jones. Agree! great girl and totally on fire for 2 main reasons I feel. 1. Because she is a talent.2. Because Andrey through his over enthusiastic and very attacking physical style to some degree burns her. I think he is a super talent, so is she,but I can see him physically competing out there (result being over dancing at the expense of his great partner) and that's where much of his energy and focus seems to be, not on her enough. It seems to me me he's gone down the road of too much focus on show, precision and not enough substance, ala Tsatsuryan and others. Happy to hear you view.
Moonrise 361. There are things about Andrey and Vera I like very much and I actually agree with the points you make in your comment. I struggle to comment on A&V because I love them in some dances and not so much in others. Their Paso is stupidly good, arguably close to the best in amateur field. Suits Andrey to the ground, jive fantastic, great energy and musically rhythmical, Not at all a fan of his Rumba style. it can often look too forceful and rather aggressive for my tastes. For me the worst kind of rumba portrayal. Good luck to those who like it. Samba , cha cha can be very good but again I just don't like it when he gets too forceful and over energetic with them because he diminishes Vera and he does quite a bit. He looks too much like he's out there competing, and even though he is, I don't want to see it. I know you a a huge fan of them and M&K and can see no fault in either of them., and that's ok you are their champion. I do find things in both that I dislike though. So you see it all in the end comes down to personal preference doesn't it.
