Nice! I can't wait to see the new transformation. I still have the original stock cage. Now I'm seriously thinking of changing that. Thanks for showing how much that stock cage was bent.
Yeah. The stock cage is essentially more of a roof support than an actual roll cage. I spend $2k ish on Krash Cages because they are really awesome quality, the powder coat matches perfectly and it’s less work. You can get a weld yourself cage kit for like $750 if you or a friend are able to weld. It’s definitely worth the money. They look cooler too in my opinion.

Just picked me up a 22 yxz xtr. One reason I went yxz is from watching you. Glad to hear you have had 3 yrs no issues. Bought mine middle of august bought to have my 20 HR service done. Just curious how many miles have u racked up so far?
Almost 3k miles. I haven’t been riding a ton this year because of moving and working on our new house. I know a lot of guys with 10k+ miles with no issues. Alternatively I know some people who have had clutch issues with similar miles to mine. In most cases those are driver error though. You have to recognize when it’s time to winch or get pulled out. A lot of guys damage the clutches when they get stuck.
Dear FILTHYKNOBS ,you got the most appealing YXZ on TH-cam imho and I think your biggest followers like the fact you do it naturally aspirated it seems turbo help you reach top speed a lil faster but from what I see once its toped out rpm wise its done .max rpm x gear ratio ex 11000 rpm 150 HP MACHINE RUNS 95 --11000 rpm 350 HP same gear ratio is gonna run I think 95.My thoughts if you gonna line beside people and race then yeah do it cause you expect to break rear end and engines racing but to ride for your pleasure and reliability naturally is the way to go.you jump out on a lead but as soon as you both get top speed you be right with him he can't keep gaining.plese comment any one
Thank you! I really don’t feel like I need a turbo at all for trail riding. The yxz is plenty fast and I don’t even use the power that I have. I wanted to do a turbo mainly to make some content. I feel like a turbo will help with jumping a little bit as well. It’s not my top priority. I’m gonna get the suspension dialed in first.
OK .I Ordered the gusset kit thanks for the link I got it a few days ago.i watch your trail video about the ecu tune and data exhaust about 100 times I think my wife say she tired of me watching your videos.i bought mine wrecked and I got front clip from Weller .DARRICK LORICK THANKS AGAIN

It was hard to track down the XR-T model, finally found a dealership in St. Johns, MI that had one on order just no idea when it'll arrive, they told me in may take til spring...I'm in no rush, I hate winter riding🤣

Avid for your suspension. Every YXZ owner I’ve talked to who has their kits absolutely love their stuff
I would absolutely love an Avid kit. I really like the new shock positioning, the added width and especially added length. I just honestly can’t let go of that much cash at the moment. We are just finally settling down from a big move.
Also the x3 trailing arm conversion would be insane.
Those kits are definitely not cheap!

fun video !! I would say limit your speed otherwise the machine can turn into a coffin. Just shifting on the manual is a blast. Is that the stock exhaust sound?
Thank you! It has a Trinity slip on exhaust and Alba headers.
🤣🤣🤣, first time watcher, very funny was wondering what other machine could be better & reliable than your current ride. I have a 17 SS/SE, gytr tranny just received my alba kit, flash, header, exhaust tip, air box spacer, reprogram shift ecu (need 2 send in) & heavy flywheel & oh ya 30×10×14's, can't wait 2 install & try it in spring. Funny guy u! (me: from B.C. Canada)
Thank you! You are definitely gonna love those mods. It will be a completely different machine. I’m excited for you. Make sure you get a good seal on the air box spacer. You should drive around a little bit before installing the heavy flywheel just to see how fast and responsive it is with the ecu reflash. The heavy flywheel should help a lot with crawling though.

No second battery or alternator kit. I haven’t had any issues with power at this point. If I added a winch, sound bar or particle separator I would probably consider a second battery or alternator.
Thanks man I really appreciate it. Not a ton of people are into yxz’s, sport quads or most of the things on the channel. I just do what I’m into and record for fun. I spend a ton of time helping people on forums and facebook pages. It’s nice to be able to share videos help people out. I do hope it’s successful though.
