Seeing VoB live in concert is so important. I saw them in Melbourne. What doesn't come through on video is the power in Widi's bass. She can play with great delicacy but can also sound like thunder. The opening of Mighty Island suggests tectonic plates crashing together, the effect of which is to remind us of how small we are, emphasizing the sentiments in the song. We must respect nature! Widi's bass is the foundation of the VoB sound, like the earth on which we stand. Most of all is the experience of seeing them live so as to be at one with their energy, to sing with them and support them, together with their devoted audience. Strength to VoB!
Cheers Chris, glad you got to see them!! Did the shirts they were all wearing that night (white shirts with black markings) have a particular meaning? They always seem to have everything planned, so I'm very curious!
@@bw1342 I also wondered at the meaning of their outfits. Yes, everything seems well planned and executed, but still allows for spontaneity, especially when Marsya engages the audience. She is a charismatic figure.

Kelihatannya crew VOB blum dlm kapasitas memproduksi live recording sendiri. Slama ini kita hanya ketemu dgn fan cam recording. Enggak tau juga mungkin ini soal copy right juga. Rasanya sdh waktunya VOB melengkapi dgn apa yg diperlukan untuk bisa memproduksi live recording sendiri. Semoga VOB dimudahkan sgala sesuatunya. Amiiiin.
Ada banyak bule yg ikutan hadir menonton, ini bukti vob real internasional artis. Tapi di sisi lain semakin mempertegas kalo orang lokal kurang mengapresiasi VOB.
