Is there any info on stronger reception capabilities with the 15 or 15 pro antenna versus the iPhone14? Will it be on par with the Samsung s23? Or not
can you please do an in depth video & photo comparison (and a general comparison between what these 3 phones offer) between the regular 15, the 14 pro and s23. i need to decide between these phones before early oct lol
I'm impressed with the 15 and 15 plus this year because of the subtle but needed upgrades. Matte back, type C charging, dynamic island. I do think Apple should've put the same a17 pro chip in all their phones this year so everyone buying a 15 series phone gets the same power. Especially since the prices are so close between the regular models and the pro models. Also would've expect at least 90 hertz refresh rate on the base models as in 2023 60 hertz is a bit outdated. I'll be interested to see what the reviews say in the coming weeks.

Really digging the new matte finishes! I think the glossy finish was getting a bit dated at this point. I like how the apple logo is now the same color as the phone now as well. Shame they ended the product red. A matte red iPhone would have looked badass

Meh. The base models are for your average user. iPhones were already quite smooth and responsive even with 60hz and most people whom I’ve showed my 14 Pro with 120hz barely notice the difference until I compare it side by side. 60hz is still fine.
Just because Android phones do it, doesn’t mean Apple should do it either. Especially when Apple can offer a smoother experience through software. What sucks is that they don’t use LTPO screens in base models so that they can improve battery life.

@@PurushNahiMahaPurush Your explanation would make sense if the phones were cheap, but they are +$800 phones. For such a premium price you would expect to not skimp on a basic feature like 90+ hz no matter how “average” the person is.
But we both know the actual reason is to upsell to the Pro Models, as the meaningful differences nowadays between the normal and pro models are pretty much the ProMotion and the cameras. It’s unfortunate but it’s apple being apple.
@@PurushNahiMahaPurushIt's definitely not as smooth as 120hz, I could see a lot of diff btn base and pro models. I always use both Android and iPhone and I know how they both work. It's not about since Android is using apple should use, but in general, Apple should give pro motion even on base models at that price. 120hz should be the standard refresh rate in 2023, in fact much before.
@@Gopinathk17 I think 90hz is enough because I have an XR and I can see some lag but not a ton whereas my friend has an android and his is 120 hz and very smooth so something in the middle is totally fine in my opinion

I've had the 15 PLUS for 6 days, first time did NOT get a pro, save $500.00 and I just love this phone battery life is amazing 10 hours . . . speakers, dynamic island, weight, brightness, speed f'ing @amazing❤❤❤❤❤

Dynamic island is disturbing sometime and the back design is the same only mate in 15 you can cover it with case
Should I get the 15 or 15 plus?
I’m trying to figure out if I should get the 15 or the 15 plus. I currently have the iPhone 11. I would more or less be getting the plus for the size but I’m not sure if it’s worth it or not😅 I wish I had an Apple Store where I live!
Umm if you’re comfy with the 11’s size and it feels perfect, get the regular 15. It’s more of a box shape like the 12 pro now. And that feels a bit bigger

Nothing outstanding, but if I have extra money, I will probably get it either the 15 or the Pro. But for now my 4 years iPhone (11 Pro Max) still working fine with no issue at all. So, thanks Apple I’m gonna skip for another year, save my money, at least until they did something really new (from my 11 Pro).
The only selling point is the base models have “dynamic island” now and USB-C is finally on iPhone but thats enough to be 1000x better than the previous modes. USB-C on iPhone was much needed for the longest

iPhone 15 seams a steal deal for now. It's basically the 14pro without promotion and telephoto. It would make a lot of sense to buy this phone now and keep it for the next coming years

Probably when they do away with Face ID and under screen cameras get better. Right now id rather have a huge notch than a blurry patch of pixels where the camera is. I think the next step is to go back to Touch ID I prefer it honestly. I’m gonna be switching to iPhone this year but its nice that I can have my phone unlocked with an under screen thumb scanner before I even have it in front of me.

I like the next iphone 15, selling point for me is the usb c charging. But new design feels like an insult now, messed up part is samsung is following with the same phone slightly different internals and calling it a new design. I guess design innovation is dead. Still so far I like the iPhone 15 seems slightly like an upgrade and finally I can use 1 cable for both iPhone and android
I'm almost convinced Apple has found some way to handicap charging and data when using cables that are not sold by Apple or their approved partners

Hey. You all are forgetting about the "Action Button" this new amazing innovation in and of itself is worth upgrading from the 14 pro max. Its just amazing nobody thought of being able to remap a button on a phone! Really smart. And the slight .0007 mm rounding of the edges makes such a huge difference on the ergonomics and people will know if i don't have the 15 when they see it from afar even with a case on it. So have to get it no matter what. Just hope I get approved for the financing since I financed last years and will only get 450 on a trade in. Staying up to preorder so I am one of the first

It is! My SE 2022 has 60 hz, but I only paid $150 for it, so I don't mind. If I am paying $800, it should come with at least a 90 hz screen.

Why only the „positive things?“ worry about apples reaction? NEGATIVE: the low, ultra low Ann’s cheapest usb-c port. Such a shame. And they use the Screens from the 14 Pros but cancelled and removed the 120Hz? Wtf Apple? I know it, no one ever would by a pro this autumn. So, if u have a iPhone 14 or 13 / 14 Pro there is no reason for a change. This year the iPhones make no sense to last generation. But MONEY MONEY MONEY. And Colors.

Problem with iPhone (many premium ‘smart phones’ is a $1,000 product, you have to handle most of your day can just be totally useless if it falls on the floor once, it can be 1hr after getting the new phone or 6 or 18 months. Unless you shroud it in ugly thick plastic covers like an Italian grandmother. I’m not a fan of covers, perhaps screen protectors I can stomach. But if it’s now an absolute necessity, Apple should make good ones and give at least 6 with new phones out for free.
I love the idea of the Apple products, and have bought it as gifts for family but the thought of investing that amount of money and live in constant fear isn’t worth it personally.
My new Apple Watch is useless after 4 months, dropped it after a workout, fell on the wrong angle and it’s now glitchy, ugly mess. Fixing the screen from Apple costs almost like a new one. Solution I’ve been yelled at for not doing is to put a screen protector on a god damned watch!!, buying an SE phone brand new it’s a risk for me.
