There's a saying that majority of people have insecurities or things they're most sensitive to. Could be their height or hip size or skin colour. Negative words tend to hit deeper when projected on such areas and it may affect us more than any other comment ever did. That's why it's more important to know what your insecurities are and face them. We're scared of facing our fears and yet that's exactly what we should do or else we will be slaves to word of people we don't even know.

Most people go through stuffs like this,
And it hurts more than the intent of those saying it.
We should try to see the world as a mirror, the mirror doesn't judge you, you judge what you see in the mirror.
It basically means we decide how we look , how we feel, how we react.
We need to make peace with how we are , based on standards we aet for ourselves.
Once those standards are met, we shouldn't get that hurt from the opinions of others.

The only tested and trusted way to see yourself better is first have a mindset shift. Embracing Jesus can kickstart that.
Transformation begins when you tell yourself God made you good and you can even be better and then best!!!
Secondly, after stopping yourself from being a naysayer to yourself, you make sure you soak yourself in God’s word!!!
That’s my only antidote for mind renewal.
The world is full of so many expectations and pseudo ideologies that are so hard to maintain!! They have this false ideology of perfection when God can literally shape you into the perfect “YOU” and you will know it , experience it and love it!
If you claim to be made in the image of God!! Always look into the mirror (God’s word) . Do it consistently and let it help you set your mind on what God has envisioned for you. It will help you know God too and serve him truly .
Lastly , love you so much!!
Love you and believe deeply and irrevocably in whatever vision about you that God has been showing you!!
Tell yourself, this isn’t the end!
I must be transformed and I will never stop growing in Christ !!

It's all rooted in IDENTITY CRISIS; knowing who you really are. Knowing who you are cut across self image, self esteem and self worth and value.
However, the answer to this question can only be found in knowing the original intent of the creator of humankind -God. God surely has a purpose for creating humankind, He created us in is image and likeness (male and female) and thus, our identity is embedded in understanding what is image and likeness is.
