Ada’s Realm has been in my wish list since someone mentioned it a while back - I think it was either Scott or Lindy that talked about it. Ember Spark is supposed to be great. Loved the Sherlock Holmes gift from Charlotte - so perfect. I’m going to have to go back to Glorious Exploits. Butter has been intriguing me - look forward to your thoughts. That was a lot of books! Great haul though. Made me want to go book shopping!
Corey Fah does sound interesting so I particularly look forward to hear what you think of that one. Bitter looks soooo much bigger than I expected. I want to read The Warm Hand of ghosts in the autumn ❤Sooooo many books!! 📚
I nearly got that department store book the other day and I can see me picking it up soon. Charlie gave you the book you were unsure about. I hope you enjoy all your books 😊
Really liked Remote Sympathy (if liked is the right word!!). I really want to read briefly, a delicious life, it's been on my wishlist for ages. Faye loves lightfalll, I haven't considered reading it myself - we have vol 1&2 out from the library at the moment, so I could easily read it 😊
So many interesting books. I’m glad I’m not the only one who gets more books by an author that I have other unread books by them on my shelf. 😊 Nesting and Sweat sound intriguing. Alice. 💙
I just can’t resist the FOMO! I do feel like a have a pretty good idea of authors that I will like from which BookTubers have recommended them though. Alice 🧡
I really liked that Catherine Chidgey book, her new one Pet was great as well. I bought Warm Hands of Ghosts a few months ago as it’s so pretty, found it okay, definitely one for Autumn
Alice (along with Jen Campbell) also convinced me to get ahold of a John Wyndham book -- boy, was she right! I know I'm going to be reading his entire backlist 🤷🏻♀️ I'm missing her, too. 💚 So sorry, Gemma. 💔
Wow that was a very big pile of books! Impressed by the variety. Do hope you find time to read at least a few of them along with all your other bookish commitments !
Best books read in August Amy & Isabelle by Elizabeth Strout The Alternatives by Caoilinn Hughes The Coast Road by Alan Murrin My Friends by Hisham Matar Wild Houses by Colin Barrett
Have you read Peter James? The first one is Dead Simple. I was thinking of someone who would like the plot. Four college guys (?) bury the fifth one alive as a prank and then get killed (all 4) in an accident.
Oooh, I loved Glorious Exploits! Definitely one of my faves for the year! I hope it works for you!
Yay!! So many people have loved it, I have high hopes 😄

Ooo, I haven’t. Sounds like a really interesting premise!
If you can , listen to the audio of Glorious Exploits as it’s written in a Dublin accent.

My wishlist has just grown. 📚 and the Department store book has book 2 coming out in November. #fomo
Always happy to increase the old TBR matey 😜
