Just seen this. very good. I have experienced many a flash chip that has lost its marbles. Many times a can of freezer just brings it back to life and then a bios update fixes it. Iv got a 1796 surface pro 5. Logo screen goes off in the same way. Can I have a bin file please. Please make PT 2 and also a video about the reflash tools and procedures . Many Thanks from Mick

Im over the moon that somebody has actually took the time to watch my crap video lol im in no way an expert in anything i do and the name of the channel gives this away. And im guessing the UEFI Bios i have will work as it did on 2 other different surfaces pro’s they will need a so called clean and serial number sorting i guess. Love his videos as the always different things and he has a sense of humour and Very intelligent when it comes to electronic repairs,… anyways check it out and also PT 2 coming soon 😀

Watching mistakes and the approach of different people and the thought process is the best education. The real world where the phone goes off at the wrong time leading to Humn? Your probably right . Windows will and firmware will probably have to Match up ! eventually. Hum sp5 comes with widows 10 uefi. Some data sheet research on the BIOS chip shows that with the last digit (Q) This SPI memory is in Factory default "Quad mode. These sort of memory SPI chips have many Features that allow for ie memory shadowing etc. For faster read write etc. So I'm guessing :- Because you can see in windows ,board serial number and soft ware serial number it should correct it self. But may be not . I am not an expert. But it will be great to find out EEproms do ware out I have found. The exact chip is available from EBAY £7.00 Gota get WSON8 6x5 socket and a programmer for home. Is a CH341 ok? Any suggestions. Please.
