      02:29 to 02:30 is chromatically ascending diminished chords.
      Foot bass goes chromatically up from G -> Db
      The hands play a mix between two and three notes, the third note being added in the middle when convenient for the thumb:
      G - Db - Bb | Ab - B | A - Eb - C | Bb - E - Db | B - D | C - Gb - E | Db - G - E
      02:31 to 02:32 is a 2-5 to Ab7
      Eb7b9 (same chord as the run ended on, Db - G - E)
      to
      Ab7 - Ab in bass, C - Gb - Eb
      to
      Ab7 altered:
      Foot: Ab
      L.H.: Gb, C
      R.H.: E major triad (technically f flat = flat 13, Ab = root, B natural = sharp 9).
      and 02:32 to 02:35 is a Db minor pentatonic scale; Db, Fb (or E for ease), Gb, Ab, C flat. Spice it up with G natural for that bluesy sound.

    I would like you to show the chord progressions with songs so we can get the full understanding of where the progressions fit the songs

  • @batsonjay
    @batsonjay 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    It helps to begin with that you give us the actual notes in the chords. But after I’ve learned this key I’m yearning for you to say it in more musical notation, so we can understand how to put it in other keys. Like, on your explanation of the 6th - you could say “In the left hand put the 7th, and the flat 9. Then stack a second inversion B flat in your right, but sharp the 5th ….” and tell us why. This way, I could do the same thing in F, or A flat, etc.

    Hello. New sub here. I love your organ videos! Would it be possible for you to just hold the chords a few seconds longer so we could visualize the shape. ? Thanks. I love your sound. 🎶🎹😊

    Love it and have to learn it...so that 3 chord is not the Cm7 we would expect, right? More like a C7b9 which longs for ending up on the 6 chord. But the voicing that's in the video makes it sound so nice. (must learn!)

      It's similar to what I explained in reply to sibonisochris Sibiya's comment. Hope that helps. It's chromatically ascending diminished spread triads starting at G - Db - Bb.

  • @rodneyjweltham150
    @rodneyjweltham150 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I can never figure out why tutorials are done in keys like C sharp when it is much clearer if you use just basic sea and you can transpose that into anything you like. I play organ in the church and when I'm teaching somebody I always start with the key of C because it's easier for them to understand the progressions. Great sound on that B3 though !!!

    • @EmmanuelArtistry
      @EmmanuelArtistry  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      What I did, I spent as much time as I could, learning a song in all keys. Take something easy, "Mary had a little lamb", play it in C, then Db, and keep going up. Once mastered, try something a bit harder.

    • @lizwikhoza202
      @lizwikhoza202 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@EmmanuelArtistry ah I see. What I find frustrating is that I can play really well in C#, Ab and some of the other black keys, but when I need to play in b, for example, I have not a clue what's going on
