As a man of 56 and almost 57 this tune reminds me of "pre-social media" dance music. Back then, what happened in the club STAYED in the club. Jamie's tune is slightly too urgent in delivery for me but those buttons were pressed, as it were. I'm glad I'm not young anymore and if you still are then make the most of it: you're here for a good time, not a long time!

The thing is he does it so well that it never sounds like a pastiche or poor imitation, more like he's pulling from a variety of styles that he is a fan of. House, ragga, UK breakbeat, amapiano and more. It's like a distillation of the music styles that have been heard in UK clubs of the past 3 decades. His tracks are varied in style and influence yet they always have a clubby vibe and his beats are always on point. I think he's a great producer.
Classic sounds mixed into something "new". Its like 90's piano mixed with drum and bass and both old-school and new-school house. Not to "cheesy" either.
