- Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in modern football, England captain and Tottenham Hotspur legend. But early in his career, it wasn't clear that he would make it at the highest level. Kane had to go through a laborious apprenticeship in the lower leagues but eventually turned into a goal machine. So much so that Bayern Munich splashed out €100 million to sign him in 2023. So how did Harry Kane become the player he is today?

Tuchel's belief that Kane will improve players around him is a massive compliment
Top bloke. Deserves every bit of success that comes his way.
Harry Kane's decision to leave England, alongside Jude Bellingham, should serve as an inspiration. If England ever wants to break through from its past darkness, it must let players to go abroad rather than overpaid clubs keeping them in.
France has done pretty well on it.
The Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world. It's not for any reason British players don't want to leave. When you know players are coming from everywhere to play in the Premier League how motivated are you going to be to leave England. There's only two leagues that would fit which are the Series A and La Liga. If you're not playing for Real Madrid or Barcelona in Spain it's like a failure. "Why did you go in the first place?" that's the question you ask yourself as a player.
LMAO?? Bayern is LITERALLY bigger than every single EPL team.
So pls, enlighten me... how is it playing abroad on any other team than Either Madrid or Barcelona, a failure?@@huguechery970
@@huguechery970a season or two at bayern will do harry wonders.
Wtf are you talking about, it’s all about the money and the money is in the English game, but if any top European club has puts up big bucks our player go, but European clubs can’t afford British players British clubs can’t afford British players
I dunno the England team is looking pretty good without doing that.
i remmeber when i was about 18 at uni in 2012 or so having some footy banter with my mates, one of them was a spurs fan someone mocked him for spurs not having any young up and coming talents and he said adamantly "harry kane! he will be class" we all laughed at him...
I was 18 in 2012 too!
Since I don't follow the Prem or the Spurs that closely, I didn't see Kane as the potential -_"Spur of the decade"._
But my sister already knew in 03/04 that Cristiano Ronaldo will become a great superstar.
She even bought herself a Ronaldo Portugal jersey with the number 17, since at that time Luís Figo was still playing and carried the number 7.
She was damn right! While I supported Greece in the EUROs final, she cheered for Portugal and C.Ronaldo. Who broke out in heavy tears after the lost final at home.
I hope he gets to win something, he deserves it. Great role model too.
Yea
I am pretty sure he will this time w Bayern Munich
He's always been a class act, imo. England has been blessed to have this guy wear the Arm Band. Oh he'll win some stuff with Bayern but he really deserves a Trophy on the International Stage.
@@cardphins68No worries, he'll bring us a championsleague or two. Mia san Mia!
Really underappreciated aspect is him as a role model, during a generation of spoiled footballers being shown to children may influence them wrong, i.e. Antony.
Kane is always class
Harry Kane is a super footballer, he will have success anywhere, for all his qualities but especially for his football brain, he is just so intelligent.
The fact he’s proved himself the best without a trophy is a testament to his talent ,his individual awards says it all. If Arsenal had of recognised his talent he’d of won titles with them ,if he’d of gone to city he’d be a treble winner, and if spurs had of invested more he’d probably have a champions league medal. Kane will be remembered not for his team’s trophies but for the great individual player he is. ( just like all the other greats that are never forgotten) It will be almost impossible if he manages to swerve another trophy.
Kane was such a bargain at 100M. Hopefully he wins some trophies and then returns to Tottenham.
Liverpool fan here. I know we sometimes make fun of Harry- it's just banter, but I'm so happy to see him doing well and getting a chance at silverware. (Not meant as a slight on Spurs.. just happy for Harry)
He's a good bloke and good people deserve good things. We don't often get to see that in this world. However many he wins- he deserves it!
never seen any striker played like Harry Kane, the most complete striker ever, composure, finishing, long shot, heading, positioning, game reading, high pressing, and amazing passes.
😂 Wayne Rooney
@@vergeq1 Rooney was not good in the air, he never played high press, and he never won a golden boots, not a single time
Rooney and Kane are so different…
Duncan Edwards
@@michaeljones6501Duncan Edwards was immense
Kane deserves this out of most players in the last decade..
being almost held hostage by its owner, not wanting him to leave and explore and grow.
but now, just look at him... what a beast!!!
from a Chelsea-fan!
I love him as a footballer. I love him more as a really decent man.
Pochettino deserves a lot of credit for believing in him. In 2014 Kane had just completed an unexceptional loan spell at Leicester followed by an ordinary one for Spurs, there was little to indicate he would become good. It looked as though Pochettino would maintain faith in the struggling Soldado but he trusted Kane, who duly delivered.
Also he comes across as a really good person, strong athlete, super fit and strong, fast, capable of doing anything you want of a striker. I am more impressed by him than by someone like Lewandowski because Kane can drop deep and play laser passes to support players, he is extremely unselfish. I can see him outscoring Lewandowski in terms of ratio in Germany.
It wasn't Pochettino. It was Tim Sherwood who gave him his chance. Kane scored goals so Pochettino kept him
Harry Kane is uber good und super clinical, he's the best striker in world football right now. Bavaria goal machine 🦾
Thanks for the amazing years you put in at Spurs Harry! You’re a true legend! I wish you and your family all the best in Germany. My brother lives over there and is a Dortmund fan, he wishes they’d have got you instead as Bayern are their big rivals!! X
Upset Spurs fans shouldn't be too selfish, the man has given them enough goals and now it's about time he gets to achieve his goals too!
Vier Kids in fünf (sechs) Jahren, Respekt!
I might be wrong, but he's our modern day Batistuta. 😅🎉
Batigol my fave player in serie A when I was growing up. But Kane is above Batigol. Kane's assist game is far better.
I'd always saw Batigol like van nistleroy.
This what England has over German in youth development, North East London where Beckham and Kane grew up is an extremely diverse multicultural so playing schools football in this part of London was like playing World Cup football, that is why so many England players grew up in that area. Beckham and Kane both played for Chingford School and they were a mid-table school in the region, so it shows how much talent England missed out on. Back then connections got you trials with big clubs, but that has change in the last 10 years and become more talent based and that is why England have become much stronger with better young players.
Diversity is a weakness- not a stength
@@ashd.6989 Fragile white person alert ‼️ 😂 if diversity is a weakness how come the best 3 teams in Europe, France, England and Portugal the most diverse teams in Europe? Also if you look at club football the best club teams are also very diverse too. You are just an insecure white person who thinks diversity is bad for white people.
@@ashd.6989 in football, it is anything but a weakness. The French national team is the most blatant example of this.
@@ashd.6989 people who reject diversity are weak.
@@LjuboCupic1912 You're right because only the best will make it to the top. Unfortunately there's prejudice everywhere in society and sports.
Worth every penny❤
I was at the game when he scored his first professional goal for Orient at 17 years old, he was OK with potential to improve further but no one thought he would do anything close to what he has done
His Mental Fortitude is what sets him apart.
A striker wu drops deep to play d No10 role to such a devastating effect and still ultra-prolific. A very rare thing 😊
yeah that makes him a better player than lewandowski. lewa is as good in the box but not as good outside.
I saw him playing for Leicester on loan, he wasn't that good. I did think he'd be a Premier League player. Although we tended to play him on the left of a front three, which didn't help.
An exceptional player
As a Chelsea fan, please don't doubt that man😂.He can score the 50 goals being talked about here
He is a true Hurry Kane 🤣 blows everything away. We will have to call him Sir Harry Kane in the future , of that i am certain. He is a ruthless and merciless striker, truly World Class. And what makes him a legend in my opinion is that despite having been offered more money to join a PL rival he instead left abroad for less. His nature would not allow him to play Against Tottenham in that league and that is legendary in the football of today.
Kane makes the right choice to became the best & legend striker...GOOD LUCK KANE...
Immagine this guy at either Liverpool, or Manchester city. By this I mean with the coaches they presently have. He honestly needed this move away from Spurs. He has thrived in the German league.
I like that Tottenham fan …grateful…and not badmind …wishing him well ..good on him
It's his finishing that sets him apart
I'm always in awe that Kane can always find the perfect spot to be in for a good header
Awesome
Harry Kane🔥❤️
An ultra- prolific baller wit dat outrageous no of assiidts is ....unbelievable! He's d Man.
I like him he is very humble work hard and very consistent.
Harry Kane mental strength is the best..
I'll be honest I never believed he would handle it
Top top player!!
My wish is for him to win 🏆 Champions League this season to proof he's the best. I wish him to win Ballon dio'r
England has tremendously improved, they're churning out great talents in recent times.

He will ALWAYS be one of our own. COYS.

*Arsenal didn’t want him*
Kane villain arc commences
To all the kids out there you work hard you can acheive
lmfaoooo this fluff piece for kane and it just cuts to Tuchel being as german as it gets
I hope he has a trustworthy real-estate guy
House and Land prices in Munich are just insane and its easy to overpay massively
dont worry, he can afford to live full time in a 5 star munich hotel with wife and 4 kids :)
Not only Bayern, every European Giants wants the UEFA Champions League
But Real Madrid will poke you back
Without a doubt, he's already proven it.
I love that the footage of a young boy playing in the small fenced football box, who is supposed to represent kleiner Kane full of big dreams, was clearly made in Berlin, because those playing grounds in Berlin are freaking awful - the turf, the fixed gates, all of that is not a place for a football talent to grow. And yeah, no practice past 17-00 or something on Sundays, what a joke
best striker in the world
It is because German and Bayern Munich are very good to him. In England, he was treated like a guinea pig
Harry Kane OBE
By order of the peaky blinders
Y'knowww.
It took a German to make Kane a super star just like Levendoski ❤
"Want to test myself at the highest level"
Moves to a league with one good team maybe 2..
Learn the ways of a keeper so you know how to beat the keeper
I watched kane early in his career,he was not good his rise to now is unbelievable a real rocky type story.never has anyone in my opinion gone from ordinary going nowhere to global superstar
Blud might finally win something
He looks German already
Germany needs to learn from England. Germany should let their players play with the ball freely to improve their skills and be experimental in the team rather than play always to a rigid script.
this is a good video but very obviously written by chat gpt - not a criticism, I use it in my work too, but just a few edits here and there to make it less obvious
@usxnews1834 Naaah, AI is not our thing. Would take the fun out of our work.

Tottenham doing great without Harry Kane and Harry Kane breaking records at Munich and likely to establish himself at the ''Champions League.......

to be honest early in his career he was bang average but something happen when Pochettino took over that took his game to consistant elite levels.
"Kane's move to Bayern will certainly bring him silverware." 😂 Can take the Kane out of Spurs, but can't take the spursy out of Kane.

Everyone he switched to Bayern to earn trophies. Nobody wants to be remember as a great loser forever.
Staying at Tottenham for as long as he did is the biggest mistake he'll ever make.
" as long as he did" why? he stayed exactly long enough for the target goal record. actually perfect time to leave.

Micky mouse football
What champion he is? (Sorry to ask not try to be rude)
Golden boot champion
Oh yeah@@nofurtherwest3474
Lol the worst England Cap. Jordan Henderson should have been Cap England might have had a chance to win for once. In fact the entire Liverpool Squad could have saved England on at least 50 times.
First to comment
Kane is not a product of England but Argentinian. And you forgot Pichento the Argentinian? then there is no like Kane after this.
Better you hire Pochento into youth development programe, and. Pep to be the national coach.
I wonder why he left the worlds greatest all time football league, the epl and went to germany?? okay english fans are begining to come to their senses and realize that there is and always been football outside england and that you can play anywhere and be great period. Totenham are an epl team but have not won any major tittles in more than 50yrs.
@bepsolo Maybe he was tired of playing in stadiums with poor atmospheres? And wanted to play in a league where football belongs to the fans?
I think you are fully aware that all seater stadium has affected atmospheres in English stadiums which prior to this German fans always used to comment that we had the best atmosphere across the continent. As you know we created football terracing before there was even organised football in Germany, and hopefully safe standing can re-create this. As to football belonging to the fans I am not so sure Bundasliga clubs listen that closely, even with fan representation on the boards. However I would ensure far more fan representation in the boardrooms of England. As it would not be possible for these clubs with their huge values to realistically ever be totally fan owned, unless a bright spark like you could come up with answer? As to fan power I think you will find it was not in France, Spain, Italy or Germany that killed off the European Super League it was huge backlash across the spectrum in England that made those all powerful owners to re-think.
@@dwkickoff You might be right, I was just trying to make a point that good a great players can play anywhere because there are other big and good leagues besides the epl
Kane went to Germany because Levy was not willing to entertain any offer from English clubs. If there was that option, he would never leave for Germany. 😂
@@jmphuhuck9735 You are missing the point, Kane left spurs because because he wanted to win something, spurs have not won major tittles in a thousand yrs and were never going to win one that is why kane left for a team he thought he had a great chance to win one or more tittles. Lewandusky had won several tittles with bayern, where he he has had his most successul career. During contract talks with bayern, they didnt want to let him go but when barca came calling he couldnt say no, as usual. remember kane has been thinking about moving to a team that he can win tittles, as there was talk of him going to manu but spurs will never sell to a PL rival.
