I gave my exams based on this one video and it helped. I answered these kinds of questions correctly. Thank you is not enough for u Sir. I am very grateful to you.
Dear Dr.Abdeldayem, is it possible to set the angle at "A" at zero when sighting Face left, then set the angle at "B" at Zero when sighting Face right? In this case, the origin's value of each angle would be Zero and the other measured angle would be subtracted from zero.
hi sir, just saw in another video, for observed direction/angle they minus 1 and 4 depending on the value of face left if it is smaller than face right, can you please clarify it possible on how the method works and would happen if we had 3 points in 1 set up station
In the old instruments (theodolites) the vertical circle used to be on the left of the surveyor when measuring the face left. I included some photos of theodolites in the video.
That’s all well and good . But in the real world nothing is flat. How does prism and instrument height come in to play ? I’m I measuring at instrument height or ground height ?
As I mentioned in the video @12:15, the total station will calculate the sloped and horizontal distances using built-in functions taking into account the differences in the ground levels.
Hello Dr I am a little bit late as far as your tutorials are concerned as I can see some of them are as old as 2 years ago. Nevertheless I am an immediate Diploma land surveying graduate and aiming to scale higher. Glad to know you but can you do basics of GPS to start with for my case?
@@ziadabdeldayem6884 If not a total station with the capability to measure distances, than you still need a telemeter to measure the distance from the station to the point of interest.
This by far has to be the best explanation for this topic that i have watched compared to other videos
Searched almost a 100 videos on youtube for this topic and nobody explained it as good as you.
Thank you...ur a great teacher.
God bless🥺❤️🙏🏾
Many thanks.

This is the second video of you I watch and honestly I do understand better than my teacher.
Thanks !
Glad to hear that some of my videos are useful for you.
Hi Sir, you are a great teacher I found in TH-cam so far!!!!!! Best Regards
Thanks.
this changed my life thank u so much l am doing engineering and surveying was hard to understand but this show me that it is actually fine
Glad to hear that.
Also by 28:16, how did you calculate 46 degrees, 56 minutes and 45 seconds? Where is the 25 degrees?
15-350+360=25
02/30/41-315/33/56+360=46/56/45
Thank you, that was very helpful for my assignment 👍
Good to hear that.
It is really so helpful thank you so much Sir .
Thanks.

If you're confident on how to use the total station, then yes it's possible.

16:50 uhm sir why 0-10'-08"?
Why not make it zero set like 0°-0'-0"?
Tnx.
Thanks. You can set it to zero or leave the reading as it is. No impact on the final result.
Is it true that the face right in level station are where we have battery on the left and the left one where we have battery on the right

Thank you. It is a great detailed explanation.
Thanks
Thank you bro best explanation...
I don't understand the face right part. After you mentioned turning the total station 180 degrees.
Great. Thank you
Thanks
Hi sir, woldn't be easier setting to 0 and then measure angle to B ? Thanks
You can start from zero if you are more comfortable with that. The key thing here is that you understand what you are doing.

Additionally still kindly do a detailed tutorial on RTK
Very nice explaination
My horizontal distance is ending up at -3ft when I’m completing station setup .. very confused
Hi Dr Zaid I want training why I can
Thats you very much, very helpful.
Thanks.
Can you send by mail how to use total station leica Ts11one by one please
You can find the manual here: smithsurveyingequipment.co.uk/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/LEICA-VIVA-TS11-TS15-TOTAL-STATION-USER-MANUAL.pdf
Horizontal angels?
Yes.
@@ziadabdeldayem6884 wonderful
So, you will still need a telemeter...
No.

Angels are dimensionless :)
.
please dont explain everythng with words. at least use a bit of writing. thank you tho
Thanks
