Wow , watching this just boosted my confidence to test for my O&P .
Hey can I ask for some advice? I wanna make this a career. Any tips for which is a good school to look at?
@@Nene_760 I didn’t go to school I did on the job training . I worked at a part 145 repair station doing avionics and doing annual inspections in general aviation for 2 1/2 years to gain experience. Than got a job at Panasonic working on the tvs on the back of the seats (IFE) for delta airlines great career love the airlines
@@Nene_760depends on where you live
Absolutely great guest to have on the show. This is definitely the best and most up to date information on testing. Thanks
No seriously, this made me feel so much better. I’m horrified of the oral part because of terminology or over talking.. but this settles the nerves.
You are seriously telling me if I do better I’ll get a harder test now 🤣
I have my final o&p on the 21st this month, I already have my airframe license I’m so nervous
I'm taking my general and airframe o&p on the 26th.
Hope you did well. were most of the oral questions you got from the sections of the written codes you got wrong?
@@brob2020 Hey, I had to reschedule the test for this coming Monday because of the hurricane but I'll let you know.
@@brianalbright 🙏 thanks itll be much appreciated im taking my general and airframe o&p this coming friday. Good luck on your test man!
@@brianalbright I have my airframe already and I am taking my power plant this Monday as well. Good luck!
thanks for the information, i myself went to aviation institute of maintenance in Duluth Georgia from which i graduated in 2016 8 years ago, got my certificate as an aircraft mechanic but never took any exams like the powerplant, airframe and nothing else but, QUESTION can i still take my orals and exams to get my license even though is been 8 years or do i have to fill any type of form ,thanks and hope to hear from you guys soon.
I think as long as you have those certificates saying you graduated you’re fine
After 2 years you need to retake the written exams.
Prepare for written exams and jepperson for o&p
Great Video
How do you map out your O+P? Can you break it down Barney style, please. Great video. I just passed all of my written exams!
How did you study for the written did you just speed run prepware?
@@jadenweems read the questions and answers twice and then re-read the answers only for like a week for each exam.
@@alexanderr3935 thank you my guy🫡
@@alexanderr3935 can you explain more? Do you mean like all the questions twice and all the answers?
@@kennytaylor3505 I read through my study guide twice reading the question AND the answers. Then I continued to read ONLY the answers and take practice tests until I was getting hight 80s and 90s. Then I took my real exam. It’s not the best method but I got it done. Now im stressing and freaking out about my Orals and Practicals.
how do i test with him? lol
Don't do it. Had a friend go with him, and while he was struggling with a project, he was on the phone bad mouthing my friend saying that he was clueless. He called the school and sent pictures of all the failed projects. Everyone at my school knows not to go with him.
How is the retest graded for failed oral and or practical?
