- Hello and welcome back to my channel. Today's video is an updated house tour, two years into our renovations. I did one of these a year or so ago but we have done a fair bit to our house since then, and it is still one of my requested videos.
I obviously can't put every detail of where things are from on this video so if you would like to know where anything is from or any other details then just let me know in the comments.
*Also as a disclaimer the white goods in the bathroom were gifted to us from soak.com in exchange for content. I have done the work for them now ages ago, but still think it is important to disclose it.

Your house is so lovely. I took inspiration from your navy wall and did the same when we moved in our home last year so we have one navy wall and the rest pebble with grey and duck egg accents. I love it so much, I’ve never had a dark wall before but it makes the room feel so cosy and everyone compliments it when they visit. Now I want to add blush pink as well haha.

I’ve really enjoyed your video. We’re currently in the middle of renovating our house/garden, and it’s lovely to get ideas. We have a small snug room downstairs I’m thinking of turning into a playroom so it’s great to get inspiration. Love your garden and bathroom renovations in particular. 😀

I'm just glad we have a bi fold door to stop our youngest getting into the garden during the excavation work. Otherwise it could get messy! Haha!

Can I ask where did you get the brass hanging things for your picture frames in your bedroom? I have those frames too but what I’ve chosen doesn’t look as nice as the ones you have.

Sure the pot on legs is from Next and the mirror is from West Elm but I got it in the sale so not sure if it is still on there anymore. x

Love that you have artificial grass in the yard. Noting to maintain, always looks nice, ans is very smart looking. Your back yard is my favorite part of your home. I see you like cactus and a bit of a desert theme here and there. I live in the desert of Arizona, and of course have a lot of desert items in and outside of my home. I would replace those book cases at the top of your stairs with just a nice large piece of art :) tfs 💐💐💐
It is really practical. I know some people don't like it, but we love it.
I love the idea of the black taps and shower in your family bathroom, but do you find them difficult to keep clean? What about limescale? If anyone has experience with them, I'd really appreciate you letting me know please.

We got them from a local company but the manufacturer is XL joinery. If you type their name into google you will find loads of stockists. The colour is just an unfinished natural wood then we varnish them ourselves.

Your house is lovely. Kitchens and bathrooms cost so much do up and change. You have nearly done the whole house in only 2 years. Which is amazing. Do you mind me asking the grey paint colour and your bedroom wall. As I got new boot room and utility done in December/January and it’s been painted twice now. The first grey was like baby blue. So I stopped the painter doing it and got more paint but the next colour has a blue look as well. The grey in your bedroom wall looks like a grey colour that would go with the new cabinets. Can’t wait to see what you do with the kitchen and utility when you do them. X

The doors are manufactured by XL Joinery (They sell them in loads of places) they range from £40-£70 a door. We have bought a couple at £70 but then also managed to get them in a sale as well so those ones were only £40 for the same door. But then you have to include extra for handles, hinges etc which are about £20 altogether.

Not sure if this is a problem in the UK as I live in the US, but how do you keep bugs out of the house with the conservatory doors open? That would be my biggest fear!
Yes we do get lots of bugs in the summer! It’s horrid. Not sure how to get rid of them!
Can I ask how much you paid for the doors including the doors and hanging? We have so many odd doors in our house that we need to replace
They worked out about £80 a door with the hanging x

How much do you think you have spent on it so far? Just wanted an idea as going to do our home. I love yours, just starting on the nursery in our home xx
This will have cost a lot of money. I'm doing my house up at moment which is similar to Katies. I'd say so far it will have cost them about £40k. I know Katie gets some items gifted so that will have helped.
Hey Jess, to be honest I would say similar to what L said, that's probably about accurate. In terms of big projects, our extension cost us just under £20k which we did with money made from our previous house sale, and our bathroom cost just under £6k (but we did get the white goods gifted, that's how much it would have cost had we paid for them, we spent about £5.5k). We haven't had anything else major gifted in the house bar those. Expensive but this is hopefully going to be the home we live in for a very long time. Hope you have fun doing up your nursery. x

Lovely house but it seems very overlooked . I’d be concerned about privacy
Myra Kirk sadly we can’t help our neighbours, it is overlooked, but it’s where we wanted to live and we wouldn’t have been able to get that big a house in a village location in the area we live. We’ve planted some trees, but they’ll take a while to grow, but it doesn’t hugely bother us anymore. ❤️
