~God's great purpose in the life of every believer, everyone who has repented and believed in the Gospel, is to conform them to the image of Jesus Christ. We, as adopted children of God, will gradually end up looking like the "First Born" in the family; the Lord Jesus Christ! This process begins with being made new creations, continues with transformation in this life through the Word and the indwelling Holy Spirit, and eventually will be completed in our resurrection bodies!~
