Breeding animals as commodities, the animals never come first. We only see what they want us to see. So very sad for the birds. Adopt (from a rescue), don't breed or shop.

For years I would pass by the parakeet & small bird enclosures in our local pet stores without even a thought nor a glance at them...until one day.
Our neighbor brought one over as a wild rescue and asked if we would keep it. Reluctantly we said okay. That was over a decade ago and we've been hooked ever since.

A lack of toys isn't too much of an issue when there is so many damn lil fluffers. Especially when it's a display cage where they will likely not be for long
@@fattyMcGee97 Yes, many of those "lil fluffers" die behind the scenes, because breeding animals as commodities, the animals never come first. We only see what they want us to see. So very sad for the birds.
@@aryastark3148 I have watched Alen AxP and from what I gather from his other videos he knows the store owner well and its one that cares about its animals, its all about the people behind it not the store itself.
Guys, I'm thinking of buying a budgie! I'm thinking that if I get one that would be more easy to tame it instead of two. But then I'm thinking that if I get two they will have company! Also, two birds make more noise than one!

@@Madggs The budgie i was talking about in my comment was named Yoshi. he was really smart and caring but unfortunately passed away from a stroke at 8 months old (he was 3 or 2 months when i said this) and I did get a new budgie when Yoshi was 5 months.. named the new bird Kirby and they were literally so close and were never apart :( I still have Kirby and he still gets a long with me pretty well and now I have another blue bird for Kirby but I think he was sick when I got him so I have a feeling it might just be me and Kirby pretty soon...

I put this on for my budgies Sky and Teyla I did have three but Evanora past away long back I got Sky and Teyla now they are noise in the morning til night. Sky is blue and Teyla is white I bring them to my room if they are being noise I don't mind if they are noise I love Sky and Teyla

this was one of the videos i saved on my playlist for my budgie yoshi.. he loved me so much and every time i look at the playlist i cry because i miss him.. he died in my hands from a stroke a few days before his first christmas. i became depressed and didn’t want to do anything but lie in my bed. before that i was just starting to get over my sadness because yoshi was like a therapy pet for me but now that he’s gone I feel like nothing is getting better. i have nobody that will sit and listen to me like yoshi did and every time i become happy everything crashes down on me once again.
Aww I'm so sorry 😔 I hate when animals die. I used to have a pet before and it was a baby duckling. He was my everything and he would treat me like I'm his mom. He only wanted me. I used to sleep with him all the time and nothing went wrong but then one more i thought my mom took him because she always did every morning before school. So I woke up to find him squished. I would not stop cry and I would cry my self to sleep. He was my everything and I wished he was still here till this day. But things happen and I'm very sorry 😔🙏🏼

When I started this video my lonely budgie ' Petter and pop ' started chirping loudly like a speaker and now I am trying to get them out of the cage .
Wish you the best of luck it was hard for my birds to get used to me but once they did it was heavenly
Start feeding him from hand...
With Patience keep your hand still and wait for the bird to feed from ur hand, soon after repeating it atleast 10 times you can get friend out to play
But mind that the windows and doors aren't open
