Wow this is amazing. This generation needs to remember the history of the relics you find or we will repeat history. Remember we know not what weapons WW3 will be fought with but WW4 will be fought with sticks and stones. May the great peace last for generation to generation and our children know not the fear or war. Love and light to all.
At 7:36 I see you're wearing the screaming eagle on your jacket there. Cool. I was stationed there in the military. Great finds btw. I would love to find some of those plate parts. It's amazing to see you guys finding all of those relics.
It’s not a zoom meeting with Governor of Ohio, U.S.A. Mike DeWine is it, you are not missing anything. Two hours of saying the same thing in reworded sentences to fill two hours of time.
Awesome dig! You must have been overwhelmed by the sheer amount history underfoot. That would have been very high on my bucket list. It was nice to see you and Mike back together for a dig. Outstanding video, and editing as usual. Happy hunting, Hank

You need to take the time to put the porcelain together because you may end up with a complet plate which means picking up the small bits to do this. Metal is not the only other treasure!
I sure do enjoy watching you guys excavating these sites. Those grunts threw that Stuff away and thought nothing of it, and now when you dig it up, we can see what regular life was like by what they dumped there. Great stuff Man.
I am a secondary school student in hk I am so interested in WW2 I have been reading and searching about Wehrmacht I love WW2 history Your video are great I will recommend them to my friends
You are partially correct. They dumped their gear to move faster. The incriminating theory is wrong. My grand father was a Wehrmacht soldier and they tossed every but food. They literally threw weapons in the woods because they didn’t want a firefight. They just wanted to surrender
These are some very very VERY interesting finds!!!! These Are things that us Americans can't find over here this is sooo AWESOME!!! thank you for going on these adventures and showing /educating us with the these amazingly authentic finds!!
about the "nametags": i instantly thougt of the nameplates used on doorbells of big houses (im pretty sure those not an "only in germany thing") also with the plates and razor and so on id quess its just stuff from some kind of appartment building jet, lockers seem plausible as well
If you were to use a ceramic tile saw (with water cooling) you could make salable relics of the bottoms of the bowls and plates. Wouldn't take much work and could bring in some money for your trips.
Were you near a city? Maybe after Germans left the town dumped everything in the woods that belongs to the germans? Especially since you didn't find any ammunition, bullets or war related items. Really Awesome finds and video!
I'm shocked this stuff is just laying on the ground after 80 years! By the way, did you guys ever think about taking a visitor with you? I've got a pefect teapot, it's small with green ring around it and two fancy initials on it, it was left in a house we bought off an old woman in Poland, she worked for the german airforce. it's great to see this stuff coming up
If you ever do other digs that are in similar soil, bring the netting bag from a potato/onion bunch with you. Drop the dirt in and then wiggle it until nothing but the big stuff is left. Bring two or three with you, as they can break eventually.
A little bit of history. My father grew up in Ludinghausen. Yes he was a German foot soldier, and so was his brother. My mom was born in Ulm. She lived with her step mom and dad. Her step dad worked as a train engineer, during and after the war. As for me, I went to cooking school in Bad Reichenhall back in 1977. Since retiring I bought a metal detector. It's a whites V3i. Top of the line. As for me I live in Jacksonville, FL. So I use my detector at the beaches. Alot of can tabs, enough to fill up a 55 gallon plastic garbage can. But my greatest finds were a Rolex Watch and a complete wedding set. His and hers, plus her very large engagement ring. The owners names were on the inside so I found them and called them. The husband was going to write a check, but I told him cash only. Checks bounce. So he gave me 10,000.00 dollars. That Rolex watch I still wear. Plus I found 2 gold coins, but they were not to old. My silver coin collection is about 40,000 coins. Plus normal old coins from the 40's and the way to the 2015. I don't go anymore since I lost my leg below my knee, plus my age. I just turned 63 and my back won't let me swing that detector. So I gave it to my daughter. She loves her new hobby. Love your videos
What a great personal story! Thanks for sharing. You have had quite some big moments yourself so I hear. Sorry to hear about your leg. Good to pass on the hobby to family! Thanks for watching and take care!
