@dood poop If I was buying a used car 15+ years old I would probably go Japanese but these days a new American car will last you 200k+ miles without having problems pretty easily. Even Korean cars are getting good and they were a complete joke 20 years ago. The auto industry is getting to a point where that doesn't even need to be part of the decision making process unless you're planning on keeping your new car for an extremely long time. In the US the average period of ownership is between 3-4 years and in that period of time I'd buy from pretty much any brand that sells cars in the US without worry, except for Fiat.

Wheel buckles causing them to go left of center head on into an SUV carrying a family of 4 coming home from a weekend in the mountains. 1 child survivor is left without a family and is paralyzed from the waste down.

As for the repo man, he lost his job because his company feared a lawsuit but later started a non profit organization that helped raise money and awareness for people that have terminal illness that have fallen into debt and need help with basic needs, touching the lives of thousands more... God truly does work in mysterious ways. We have so little clue as to what goes behind the scenes and the reasons to why they happen. As far as evil, death, suffering, etc. go, they have their limit and inevitable end where in the case of Good and goodness it has no end it can only multiply and multiply infinitely. Good thing we’re not in charge of guiding the universe! We can’t even tow vehicles without damaging parts.
That’s an AMAZING Guy, That would have been one of the toughest Repo’s ever. I wouldn’t have been able to sleep that night knowing I took those good folks only Transportation. He done A great thing, Good things will come his way too,
What a truly beautiful, compassionate, thoughtful and professional man. His humanity at the plight of these elderly people is truly heartwarming. In not only paying off the outstanding balance owed on the car, and having it's oil changed and it detailed before returning it to the astonished couple, but also in setting up a Go Fund Me account to help them get enough money to pay off their debts and hopefully have a little left over. His care for their well-being as the elderly man succumbs to the onset of that dreaded condition and his wife struggles to look after him gave them such a positive boost, and the return of their car on which they'll be especially reliant. This man is living testament that People and Principles Matter!
