When we landed on the 41.36, Gary said it's a five year goal to be finished with the home and homestead. We are 3 yrs in. Our home is more than half done and our homestead is providing. I'd call that a win so far. If it isn't until end of January, then It is what it is. All I know if from the top down - it will be dry before Christmas. Bet 😎🤗

hi there slr. i went back and was looking at the date on the playlist on slr and if my math is right then you have in about 3 years finish the outside structure (minus the the steel roof ) off your house if you manage to put on the roof on the mud room before 2025. from almost not making it up to your property whit the caravan becasue it was so rough terrain to have a big land cleared and the outside structure off your house done in almost 3 years, that is something if you ask me. i hope you have a great holiday and have a happy christmas :)
Hire with warranty that way you can concentrate on the siding and all the interior work that is going to be finish work and very time consuming for all the nice finishes
Hire somebody who moved down from up north, if there's someone like that available. Up here, where snow is measured in feet and ice is a regular occurrence, good roofing is a must.

You may need to do the front design soon and the overhang. They can make the trim you're going to need. I know most of it you can buy. But on the back porch your probably going to need some custom work done. The valley you can figure out too. utube can teach alot. There's so much to do. Just my opinion,metal can be dangerous to work with. Gary did the goat house. With the warranty and the very much importance of the roof being waterproof. I personally have an opinion on it and even though I was a sheet metal worker and could do it myself. The warranty and insurance would make my decision toward someone else doing it a real possibility. Check with a insurance company if it makes a difference. I don't know.

Hey put a wood stove in side the loung room up there it keep you warm while your working and make it go out the side and make sure you put a T peice at the bend at the bottom for a clean out makes it easy to clean out the pipes You guy's done a good job building this house and its nice all made by you Guy's amazing really debit free its a good felling we rent to old for a loan im 67 and no one will give me a loan

Suggestion for you, cover the rafters with a tarp at the end of the day to help protect the floor until you have the zip boards on and taped.
