Yes. That advice, "be true to who you are", "don't be like other groups," and "never give up," have certainly paid off for BTS. Being themselves is what made them special and stand out above the rest. It's just sad though that the people giving the advice living in such conditions and don't have the tools needed to implement their advice into their own lives.

Even though there were times when this show was cruel and ridiculous, this show is actually helping them grow into great people, find new inspirations, and finding themselves. I'm so proud of the boys for reaching out and giving food to these people which everyday Americans don't even do. I am looking forward to see our boys and their new music and new selfs. These boys are great role models. I am an Army, and I'm proud. :')
I agree with most of what you said, but come on don't be so biased many average joes help out homeless people daily. The "everyday Americans" (you're dissing like Tony and Nate) came up with the idea to use the earnings in this way, initially BTS thought they were going to be able to spend the money on themselves. So don't be so quick to put others down in favour of idols (a.k.a saints to some of you!).
i'm not trying to diss and i did watch the entire episode so i do know about Tony and Nate coming up with the idea. Just saying I'm proud of them for learning something good and positive from our society. And sorry if you don't think like some people that idols are saints, but besides that, their music and dedication inspired a lot to do better. Never did I put others down, just praising the boys in what they love to do.

I'm here again reviewing all the old videos of BTS because they truly inspire me in many ways... They are still the same till now and the humility that they have within them is never changing... I'm crying over and over again knowing from where they started their journey and where they are now... I'm proud of BTs.. Even the Korean must be proud of them as well because they have brought so much of good impact toward Korean culture and to the music industry as well... 💜💜💜💜
this is probably what makes AHL such a good reality show. not only do we see how much the boys get to learn and improve themselves, there's always something that we get to learn as well. so proud of BTS, really, and i'm really glad to get to learn so much in LA.

I have sooo much respect for bts right now the fact they are doing this kind of reality show where they are exposed to so many different people and different experiences sets them apart already. I hope that all the advice they are given and knowledge they've gained stays forever in their heart. Bts and b.a.p are the only hip-hop group that I truly respect and invest in emotionally. 진짜 여기서 몇 갠 맞는 말이다. ‘높은 곳에 올라가더라도 뭐가 안풀리면 거기서 쭉 내려간다.’ 맞아요, 정말 맞아요 BTS. 우리가 살아가면서 이건 정말 깨달아야하는거에요. 제가 인서울 하고 싶어서 삼반수를 하면서 느꼈던건데요. 저는 실패했지만 생각나는게 공부 얘기 밖에 없어서 이걸로 댓글 남깁니다. 상위권이었던 애들중에서 끝까지 상위권인 경우가 드물어요. 변수도 변수이지만 결과가 잘 나오면 잘 나왔다고 자만하는 경우가 좀 있거든요. 여기에서 포인튼데 자신이 잘한부분은 끝까지 밀고 가야되는데 우린 잘했으니 더 안하려는 경우가 생기거든요.
단계단계 밟아온 과정이 있기에 감사할 줄 아는 그룹같다. 그런 과정들이 없다면, 절대 가질 수 없는 가치이니까~ 그건 그저 시간에 비례해 거저 얻어질 수 있는 건 아니라 생각한다. 뭣보다 우리 음악, 우리 노래 라는 자부심이 느껴진다. 누구 대신의 목소리 말고. 매번 제한없이 이것저것 시도해보는 그런 용기가 넘 멋지다~~~

i wanna thank the homeless people that gave bts advice and positive words to keep them moving forward, if these homeless people never gave them those good and positive words I think bts wouldn't be here today still making music. I hope the people that gave them advice are doing well and proud of bts accomplishments throughout the years :)
It is now 2019 and they still take their advice seriously. They are now partnered with a big organization and are giving back. And they remain humble. They’ve gotten so world wide and popular and they still cry at award shows for receiving awards. They cherish ARMY and often tell us that we are the reason they get their awards. This is so heartwarming to watch. No matter how little you have, there is always something that you can give back. $1 in your pocket might mean a hundred to others. So, just give back if you ever had the chance to.

This is 2020 and I still see BTS as humble as they were like on this show. They are a millionaire now. Wow to look back on what those people gave them advice, it just makes me goosebumps.
‘Don’t be like some other group’ ... man they really kept these conversations in their hearts and look how far they have come as a group. Really reminded me of how the members recently said that although they felt honoured to be compared to the Beatles by the media in the west they want to be known for who THEY are, staying true to themselves as BTS. This mindset is what sets them apart and the more I rewatch old vids of the group the more I realise how rare and special their unity and qualities as a group are. It’s those things that have brought them this far.
After 6 yrs watching this, after knowing the current BTS, I just want to comment and want BTS to know that I personally feel, this experience taught them a lot and they are true to their words. Even after reaching the heights of success, they are yet humble and honest and without arrogance. Their eyes have love and loyalty for their army's and that's what makes them special. Having tears in my eyes after watching this episode of them being 6 yrs ago and then feeling so emotional that yes these guys learnt a lot through their ways and they carried it with them. It's their simplicity that joins our hearts💜 to them and makes us cry when they cry and laugh when they are happy. We are shy when they do something naughty and we are sad in their sadness. I am a not so long fan of BTS but within the short journey, I've attached to BTS on a level that's unexplainable. I love watching them sing, play, dance, laugh, fool around, make fun, live their life. I wish this comment can reach them at a point and they can feel our gratefulness for them being *our, army's* * B.T.S* forever. Wish them success. I purple 💜 you BTS

wow i've watched this episode so many times and it will still bring me happiness to see that they were out there helping out i have so much respect for them especially the advice the people have given bts it was really inspirational to others i mean people would say the other episodes instructors was a bit too rude or mean but to me it wasnt its just them being strict to bts they didnt do it to just pick on them but to man them up and prepare them for all the rough and hard stuff that will be worse in the future like coolio i think that was just him being a strict teacher but in the end he still was being fair to the members and would be straight up of what he didnt like and what they did wrong but other than that watching all of american hustle life will forever be my favourite show along with bon voyage seeing them having so much fun together makes me happy and actually leaves a great impact on me that ive learnt so much about them.
It's been years and I'm still coming back to this video. The ppeople that they met here, somehow give them the lesson in life that help them reach what they are today, and I'm so glad because BTS is successful, but they remain humble.

지금 2021년에서야 이 영상을 보게되었는데
지금까지 걸어온 방탄의 길을 생각하면 감동이네요
정말 드라마틱하다는 생각이 들고 그동한 고생하고 많은 감정과 힘듦과 감사함을 느꼈을 멤버들 한명한명 생각하니 또 감동입니다
또, 방탄에게 하는 말들인데, 괜시리 제가 마음이 울컥하네요 저한테도 울림있는 내용인듯해요😢

i wanna thank the homeless people that gave bts advice and positive words to keep them moving forward, if these homeless people never gave them those good and positive words I think bts wouldn't be here today still making music. I hope the people that gave them advice are doing well and proud of bts accomplishments throughout the years :)
It is now 2019 and they still take their advice seriously. They are now partnered with a big organization and are giving back. And they remain humble. They’ve gotten so world wide and popular and they still cry at award shows for receiving awards. They cherish ARMY and often tell us that we are the reason they get their awards. Our humble pop-stars. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
This is so heartwarming to watch. No matter how little you have, there is always something that you can give back. $1 in your pocket might mean a hundred to others. So, just give back if you ever had the chance to.

This is 2020 and I still see BTS as humble as they were like on this show. They are a millionaire now. Wow to look back on what those people gave them advice, it just makes me goosebumps.
‘Don’t be like some other group’ ... man they really kept these conversations in their hearts and look how far they have come as a group. Really reminded me of how the members recently said that although they felt honoured to be compared to the Beatles by the media in the west they want to be known for who THEY are, staying true to themselves as BTS. This mindset is what sets them apart and the more I rewatch old vids of the group the more I realise how rare and special their unity and qualities as a group are. It’s those things that have brought them this far.

After 6 yrs watching this, after knowing the current BTS, I just want to comment and want BTS to know that I personally feel, this experience taught them a lot and they are true to their words. Even after reaching the heights of success, they are yet humble and honest and without arrogance. Their eyes have love and loyalty for their army's and that's what makes them special.
Having tears in my eyes after watching this episode of them being 6 yrs ago and then feeling so emotional that yes these guys learnt a lot through their ways and they carried it with them.
It's their simplicity that joins our hearts💜 to them and makes us cry when they cry and laugh when they are happy. We are shy when they do something naughty and we are sad in their sadness.
I am a not so long fan of BTS but within the short journey, I've attached to BTS on a level that's unexplainable.
I love watching them sing, play, dance, laugh, fool around, make fun, live their life.
I wish this comment can reach them at a point and they can feel our gratefulness for them being *our, army's* * B.T.S* forever.

wow i've watched this episode so many times and it will still bring me happiness to see that they were out there helping out i have so much respect for them especially the advice the people have given bts it was really inspirational to others i mean people would say the other episodes instructors was a bit too rude or mean but to me it wasnt its just them being strict to bts they didnt do it to just pick on them but to man them up and prepare them for all the rough and hard stuff that will be worse in the future like coolio i think that was just him being a strict teacher but in the end he still was being fair to the members and would be straight up of what he didnt like and what they did wrong but other than that watching all of american hustle life will forever be my favourite show along with bon voyage seeing them having so much fun together makes me happy and actually leaves a great impact on me that ive learnt so much about them.
ahl taught bangtan how to be humble and always give back to people.. i just love how they internalized everything from the start..
It's been years and I'm still coming back to this video. The ppeople that they met here, somehow give them the lesson in life that help them reach what they are today, and I'm so glad because BTS is successful, but they remain humble.
