    I like the way the top section allows a device to overhand widthways but I guess you have to make sure the device on the bottom fits within the bracket width. I'm going to use this hack to make a stand for my Arturia Beatstep pro (top) and Arturia Mini Lab (bottom) think it will just fit.

    This is definitely a sweet hack stand for my Behringer RD-8 and future RD-9. Thanks for the great idea. Oh by the way, very nice track added to the video. Keeping the sounds of the drill and everything added to it. So very 80's. Lovely. 👍👍👍👍👍

    Great idea and good tutorial; however, all of the parts outside of the screws and nuts are not listed. If these were made from things at IKEA, it would be helpful to list those as well. It’s a great idea, and I do want to follow-up and do this myself. Thanks for putting this video out there.

      If you watch from the beginning, it shows the name of the Laptop Stands he used and the Support Stands at around 0:23 and 0:27 in the video. I plan on doing this myself as well! Great idea to save some space with equipment!

    • @The_Digital_Arts_World

      @@TangoDelta70 Yes it shows the stands an supports. No it does not list where they are and my search on IKEA turned up nothing. It helps when links are provided like most TH-cam DIYselfers do.

      @@The_Digital_Arts_World I looked around myself on their website and couldn't find the exact models. It's possible they don't produce them anymore as the video is from over 4 years ago. Perhaps Amazon would have options closer to what was used in the video?

    I've seen the original video and yours is better, so thanks for this. Just one question: is it really stable? I read a comment under the other video, saying that when you remove the bottom toy first, then the top one may fall down. Is it true?

      @@jimmywheelo Seeing as you're the brains behind this brilliant invention, do you think you could add a third tier to the top? Would it topple over? I've got 3 bits of gear and would love to add a third tier. Bout to buy the ingredients from ikea. Would love to hear your thoughts!

  • @HiredGoonage
    @HiredGoonage 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    cool but I've generally found these DIY things just aren't quite right. They aren't purpose built and so there's always some compromise with them. You end up buying a proper one eventually and so it's really just a waste of time and money

    • @offworldnetwork
      @offworldnetwork  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You may have a point and to be honest, for the first month I didn’t actually use it in my studio. But for the last few months I’ve used this with the RD-8 on the lower tier and Behringer MS-1 on the upper tier. Video coming soon.
