@@candicraveingcloude2822 Sure, but those bonus features sometimes are essentially the same as what you'd get from toys to life. Nowadays, it's really only done with Smash Bros (though Animal Crossing contains some of it still), but Nintendo did have a much bigger push during the Wii U era for actual toys to life functionality, such as Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival, Mini Mario & Friends Amiibo Challenge, and even Super Mario Maker IMO.
This showed up in my notifs again, and I completely forgot to add that there are also Amiibo that are Skylanders, such as those Bowser and Donkey Kong amiibo.
I will never forget I had gotten the shining star dragon @ an old block buster. Bought it because I loved dragons and not for the online gimmick. It wasn't until a year later that I realized I could set up an account for the toy only for the website to constantly tell me "too many people are signing up right now." So I never had the joy of playing this knock off, but the stuffed animal itself was my all time favorite for years. So it has a special place in my heart even if they didn't let me play the game
Me and my family absolutely LOVED U.B. Funkeys. Whenever we had a family shopping trip, I would always save up my money and spend it on new funkey's and get all excited to come home to play their respective games and see what new items they had in their shops. In the past year, me and my mum actually started properly collecting all the funkey's and we've managed to get every single one in each different rarity, except for the henchman figure - which I consider one of my proudest achievements in life 😂
I can't watch this right now because I'm at work. But it always made me chuckle that a lot of the Webkinz copycats have been long gone for years now. But Webkinz is still holding strong.
build a bearville, webkinz, and club penguin were like the holy trinity for me as a child. once build a bear got shut down i was in middle school and moved on to animal jam.
12:11 OH MY GOD I REMEMBER THAT NOW!!! I was struggling to remember if it was some kind of weird fever dream (especially the webisodes), but seeing that lightning bolt logo hit me HARD in the nostalgia! The Dinner Club meals are definitely high on my list of fictional foods that look unnecessarily good 👀 Edit, I remember loving the webisodes as a kid, but… GOD, that dog’s voice makes me wanna rip my ears off. Also gotta mention that while the American Girl MMO makes sense for what the brand is all about, Little Me didn’t want ANYTHING to do with a school-themed game 😭 Definitely didn’t help my perception of AG as a “boring” toy line, lmao.
There was this one My Little Pony: Equestria Girls app, where you'd buy a doll and scan a code on her necklace to collect in-game. But you could literally scan it from pictures on Google if you had another phone or a computer 😂 2010s not 2000s, but I think it can belong in the discussion!
I really enjoyed this video. Of course, your stuff is always great, but I feel the little extra effort on details like the "air quotes" animation or all the times lil Dream Jelly came up on the screen to emote a bit made it even better. Of course, also pretty cool and interesting subject matter as usual
I loved both Webkinz and Bearville equally so hearing that Bearville shut down was kinda heartbreaking. For some reason I thought it was still going, but it lasted quite the long life at least in comparison to other Webkinz wannabes. Also the Shining Stars animated short thing looks like stuff that’s be on TH-cam kids minus the trauma fuel.
Fun fact about rescue pets: I had one, and the name you give your pet is like a username, in that only one person could have each. By the end, my dear Cutie had 4 layers of attempted names on their physical tag as I slowly learned what that reality was. Even QT96 was taken ffs 😂
I loved UBFunkeyes so much as a kid. It's so weird that it's probably the first of the "toys to life" games like Skylanders, Disney Infinity, amibo, etc.
The Ty Country Bear made me literally wheeze Edit: as a Bratz fan, other than a cash grab, I can almost guarantee they created BeBratz just because Mattel had Barbie Girl… the doll cold war of the 00s 😂
I know the website was Japan-only but I would have liked to see Sanrio's Jewelpet. I'm a little too old to have been on the Webkinz train (Neopets on the other hand...) but I gotta say Jewelpets are adorable.
@@commandixnostalgia2321 The original website was very much taken from the Webkinz toy to life concept. Some theorize that it was the reason why it never came to the west since they didn't want to get sued. Which is uh, dumb, since Shining Stars and such didn't get sued.
i actually was in LOVE with the concept of irl pets to online worlds, i loved beanie 2.0, webkinz, lpsonline, and bearville online. online worlds were my whole childhood. i am super excited for bearville rewritten!
Dude my entire childhood and teen years were Webkinz. I convinced my grandparents to take me to the Webkinz tour thing. I got like 3 Webkinz out of it. I had over 100 of them (including the Dalmatian which is special to me bc my late grandfather whom I was SUPER close to gave it to me before he passed). I'm glad to see someone else spent as much time on it as I did!
I was pretty happy when Ty launched 2.0 as I was one of the unlucky kids whose single webkinz had a code that'd been sniped before I could play. I actually still have all three of my 2.0 beanies (two pink cats and one black cat). Some bizarre memories of the website include: the fact that the chat system wouldn't let you type numbers as part of the filter system, but would let you ask people how old they were as one of prewritten questions, so we had to find workarounds (I remember feeling very clever saying "dozen" to mean 12), and one of the songs that played when you decorated your room was "Life is a Highway". The 2008-ness of it all... I was also a Snootz hater even at that age; somehow his voice is even more grating than I remember. I'd also completely forgotten about the Bratz virtual world, despite having one of those, too (the purple one with the panda). I guess that speaks to how much I actually played it.
Lol I had a Rescue pet epet online dog! The best childhood photo I ended up putting in my yearbooks "back in the day" section is me holding my Rescue pet. I was hoping you'd be able to identify it, and you did thank you! I loved that thing so much, but you could NEVER take off the collar. That thing was attached. I also really enjoyed the online game, seeing footage of it was incredibly nostalgic. It wasn't substantial gameplay but being only 6 years old it was perfect.
Thanks for making such a comprehensive video, super informative! Also the Chihuahua is my longtime favorite Webkinz, literally had my plushie sitting beside my screen before I clicked this lol. I enjoyed seeing all the clone game Chihuahuas you included for comparison.
Webkinz was obviously my favorite and the GOAT, but I was also OBSESSED with buildabearville. I wish I could go back and play it again so badly. I agree, it’s visually so appealing. What I adore is that it looks like all the backgrounds are hand painted like it’s a storybook. There was always SO much to do on there. Like Webkinz, the longer you played, the more rewarding it felt, because you’d collect rare items and new things were always popping up. They also had a whole ass soundtrack??? Game recognize game For me, if you want me to get hooked on your Webkinz knock-off, you gotta have amazing mini games. And buildabearville did for SURE. Similarly, I think that’s why I enjoyed Shining Stars tbh!! I never had high expectations for it like I did for Webkinz, but I feel like I remember enjoying the mini games and I appreciated that they at least had a theme to the whole website. I like stars and space themes. Funnily enough, I don’t remember any of the features that you mentioned in the video!! I think I just played games and collected stars??
At the time, TyGirlz felt so vast and full of content! I'm surprised there wasn't actually that much to do now that I reflect on it as an adult. I guess I was an easily impressed kid haha
i love this video😭 i had one of the LPSO plushes and, from this video, i discovered i had a ty girl as well. i didn’t have a computer growing up so i never saw the virtual worlds they belonged to
Snootz is fucking insane. I watched the entirety with my friends like two months ago and it’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever watched. From the bad animation, to the wild voice acting, to the terrifying chickens, and the live action episodes I recommend it if you feel like laughing.
I really hope that the Barbie Girlz Rewritten project gets further along soon. The dressup function is always a blast, and I really want to go waste time on the one I remember best..
I so appreciate your JellyTV shoutouts :') Not only are they great recommendations, but it really makes this niche digital nostalgia corner of TH-cam feel like a community
when the build a bear game came out, i went back to the store and the employees let me retroactively pick a code for any character to go with the childhood bear i had gotten. i picked the one that looked closest to mine and apparently it was some super rare character because the few times i played i had people incessantly spamming me with trade requests for my bear’s item after seeing it being carried around in my backpack. good times
Anyone remember Sqwishland? It's a combination knockoff of Webkinz and Squinkies. They're squishy animal toys that come in little round capsules and they come with codes to register them online. I won one from an arcade machine once. I think I only played the game for like a day or two. I remember playing a minigame involving fish that was so easy I literally couldn't figure out how to lose. The game seems to still be up and running today.
Anyone remember the soda pop girls? I can’t remember if you needed to buy the dolls to play the online game, but I remember liking them and thinking they were cool! Was kind of hoping they’d be in the lightning round 😅
i was absolutely OBSESSED with LPS as a kid and got one of those LPSO dolls, but I could never figure out how to actually make it work so I just never got that experience 😭
I remember be-bratz. It was kinda fun, but kinda blank. I held on to the usb-access key thing for years until I lost it. I vaguely remember the commercials being all like "You can wear it as a necklace and wow all your peers with how cool and exclusive you are."
I was the BIGGEST build-a-bearville kid oml thank you for talking about itt. Even the soundtrack slapped. I miss it sm I wish it still existed :( also kangaroos are in the yard
what is the music for 16:31 there was an old flash chatroom game called Whirled i used to play and some rooms would have this music in the background, along with "what a wonderful world" in the main lobby.
Fun fact about Ty Girls: Ty got in trouble in 2009 because two of the dolls (Marvelous Malia and Sweet Sasha) were (supposedly) named after former President Obama’s daughters
I think an honorary mention that most people don’t know about is My E Pets!! I’d love to see you do a video or talk about that bizarre website and toy brand that seems to have faded from existence during what I can only assume was its peak popularity! There were unfinished parts of the map that literally never got done because it got discontinued! So strange. When I wasn’t on webkinz or go girls games I was on My E Pets!
There’s one Webkinz clone that I NEVER see brought up at all. Hell, I’ve barely been able to find anything about it online. It was some fish themed one called Seapals. I remember buying a few of the plushes at an aquarium but I have no recollection of it besides playing it. Doesn’t help that there’s little to no info of it online
those are so cryptic to me! my mom bought a couple deadstock ones at an outlet store like a decade ago and i was always fascinated by them because i could literally only find one documented page selling them online and it was some shady basic html site. you already have more info than i do from actually playing the game though! what was it like?
thank you I owe u my life!!! I’ve been trying to find the name of these for years when I got some 10+ years ago from a gift store in a city I was visiting and was literally trying to find them 15 mins ago after seeing this video title…… I feel like those ghosts stuck in purgatory that can finally pass on
@@fusetunesbasic virtual world stuff. I faintly remember a shopping minigame but that’s about it. My memory is extremely faint when it comes to this game. I remember having a shark, pink anemonefish and a fire angelfish. But that’s it. The plush toys doubled as little finger puppets. This is all I can recall about this game. It’s just been sitting in the back of my mind gathering cobwebs until this video dug it out
I watch a lot of retro gaming and internet culture content and it's really cool seeing it from the perspective of a girl, so I'm glad I discovered your channel. Your videos are so fun!
thank you for talking about buildabearville like nobody talks about it but it was my absolute favorite online game as a kid. me best friend and i would sit on our home phones talking for hours playing it and i feel like nobody remembers it or even played it but us
I loved buildabearville, I was ADDICTED throughout middle school, and as a 27 year old, my brain still sometimes autotranslates words the game forbade us to use in chat into the shorthand us players came up with. Like instead of "ummm," it was "ammm."
I loved Build-a-Bearville, it was awesome, the mini games were so much fun, had a straight up fire soundtrack, and it was always filled to the brim with others playing too. They also had seasonal events like an interactive haunted house at Halloween and summer camp during the summer months. The customisation options were amazing for the cub condo (home for your avatar and build a bear), your avatar and the virtual build a bear. Miss that game. I also played Webkinz as a kid, it was a lot of fun as well, but Build-a-Bearville will always be my favourite one as it’s what I grew up with. Hopefully the Build-a-Bearville Rewritten being a fan project for the fans will successfully come back and not get pulled by Build a Bear like Disney has done with Club Penguin comebacks, which my sympathies goes out to all the people that just wanted to relive their childhoods again and Disney took that opportunity away, really quite sad.
These sites like Webkinz and Funkeys and even Neopets were something my younger siblings were into more than I was. I remember so many of these being just blended together, though my sister was super into Webkinz.
welp snootz' shoutout to kelso and bunbun (my plush) was me. I thought I had that memory buried ages ago. I see I unintentionally have my five seconds of fame! Wonderful job on the video!!

this channel is such a gem for me! i love every video you post. the effort you put into editing and scripting is so entertaining. i love revisiting some nostalgic memories from my childhood that i feel like no one else has any recollection of and also learning about stuff i didn’t play with as a kid. keep it up 😊🎉
most of Bella Sara hasn’t been documented well because most users were young. it was so much more than just the stall sections and RPG Adventure. It had a huge world where you could plays many games, own a home, and explore the magical realm.
This video was made for me. The webkinz. The lpso. I remember that stat commercial. I've been a build-a-bear emoloyee for several years now and we all reminisce about bearville all the time. I had several UB funkeys!! Absolute delight to watch this!!
20:40 Oh hey, I actually had a few Seapals! Ones I had were the pink anemonefish and the bannerfish ones, might've had a couple others but those were the ones I remember (might've also had the pufferfish one?). Don't remember what the actual game was like though, but from the footage in this video, maybe that's for the best (I... probably only got the Seapals because I really liked fish/marine life in general when I was younger)
Well, Iâve always been scratching my head about kislux obsession with school bags and their practicality, but this video is adorable! Congratulations.
innerstar u was one of the best toy to video game concepts imo, the only downsides is that you had to pay 110 dollars for the doll to access the full game 😭
Was hoping you'd talk about the build-a-bear virtual world! I distinctly remember that one! 💜 Another one I enjoyed was there was this online Skylanders world that was short-lived but I LOVEDDD. Everyone knows that Skylanders was mainly for consoles but there was a online web browser world you could enter the code that came with your Skylander into and play with it. I remember missing it when it was gone.
Im incredibly sleep-deprived atm and cant sleep due to stress. All that being said, your content is very relaxing and is helping me calm down. Tysm for having such great nostalgia-comfort content. 💖
Im so happy someone finally mentions U.B funkeys! I had (and still keep) a set and remember playing in the funkiki island a lot, the soundtrack is amazing!!
I only just finished this video and the shining stars pets just flashed me back. I don't think I ever played the online gamemode, but I DID have that dragon plush and seeing it again made me feel some sorta way!!! I'm always surprised by how youtubers will just unearth things for me in my brain randomly! This was a delight overall though, I love seeing old virutal worlds and this video had such a fun twist on it based on Webkinz! (you're making me want to check out Webkinz in general :D)
As a child I was briefly obessed with trying to find a way to play with my 2009 american girl doll on Innerstar University. There was no way to retroactively get a code, and there was no way I was ever going to be able to afford a second doll just to gain full access to a game.
Fun fact: Snootz voice actor was literally a random ty employee at the time (it took a while for people to find them lmfao) Btw bb 2.0 has a fandom now thanks to Athena p (a popular TH-camr who covers nostalgic media) floptok reeeeaaaly likes snootz… (also there’s smut)
the hold bearville had on my friend and me. out of any virtual world I played as a kid, that one had one of the coolest maps to explore and roleplay in haha
Another amazing video. I used to love webkinz as a kid and my dad helped me set everything up and even name the first one I had. We both still remember the name and he even uses it as a password for stuff sometimes. But as a kid i loved anything virtual world type thing. I played almost any i could find like webkinz, club penguin, monkey quest, nicktropolis, free realms, and a bunch more.
i used to love shining stars :') here in the uk webkinz were rare to find, but shining stars were everywhere!! i had like 10 of them and i was obsessed with the web series they released
okay, This is the first time in a long time that i've had a vid make me pause to comment: the way you used the storm cloud bit as a way to slide in and out of a tangent was impressive and so fucking smart👏 Also, you unlocked so many memories of my plush collecting journeys as a kid that I fully forgot: so thx
Bro… haven’t thought about shining stars in YEARS. I had one, for sure, don’t remember what it was, don’t remember what I named my star. Think I only spent like one day on the site before returning to webkinz and never thinking about it again. But when you mentioned Dark Star, it reminded me of something. When I was little, I wrote all sorts of stories. One of them was about my webkinz traveling to different mmo worlds like poptropica and club Penguin in order to save their kidnapped sister from a terrible villain, Dark Star. I’ve thought about that story from time to time in the many years since I wrote it when I was like 8, but I always thought I made up Dark Star. Now though, you’ve unlocked a whole new set of memories. That wasn’t someone I made up, that was Dark Star from Shining Stars!!! He came to the webkinz world to destroy webkinz as we know it!! Man. What a childhood I had.
i remember playing epets as a kid!!!! ive been wondering what the virtual world was bc i just remembered it shut down at some point as a kid and never knew why and i could never remember what virtual world it was because of this video, i finally have a sense of peace. thank you jelly
I think you forgot to mention something about Shining Stars. They actually DID re-invent Shining Stars, but it was just on the 3DS (or DS.) It was called Shining Stars: Starcade. It had the exact same cover as the movie. I have a 3DS at my home and I'm planning to actually try to download it.
also you should definitely do a video on defunct free-to-play social/rp sites like nicktropolis and the lost foster’s home browser mmo. they’re pretty fascinating and there’s an air of mystery around them since they weren’t archived very well

@@candicraveingcloude2822 Amiibo was created in the wake of Skylanders' popularity, which was the pioneer of "toys to life" in gaming consoles.
That sponsor segment with the Jelly Wizard was so good. It’s been amazing seeing how far the channel’s grown (Been subbed since the Wonka vid)
6:51 Not you adding "he need some milk" sfx on the ginger cat plushie after that cursed webkinz milk story and now i feel insane 😂
It would make a loud thud against the wall
6:52 thank you for the webkins plush milk story reference. i am haunted by that post to this day. one of my favorites from the internet
SAME! And also Innerstar U too for me
12:11 OH MY GOD I REMEMBER THAT NOW!!! I was struggling to remember if it was some kind of weird fever dream (especially the webisodes), but seeing that lightning bolt logo hit me HARD in the nostalgia! The Dinner Club meals are definitely high on my list of fictional foods that look unnecessarily good 👀
Edit, I remember loving the webisodes as a kid, but… GOD, that dog’s voice makes me wanna rip my ears off.
Even QT96 was taken ffs 😂
lmao nice to know someone else had that problem, my mom thought the game was broken and accidentally named by beloved cat lavender keysmash
Fresh Jelly from the Jelly Wizard! Hurrah! The town will survive the winter!
I loved UBFunkeyes so much as a kid. It's so weird that it's probably the first of the "toys to life" games like Skylanders, Disney Infinity, amibo, etc.
The Ty Country Bear made me literally wheeze
Edit: as a Bratz fan, other than a cash grab, I can almost guarantee they created BeBratz just because Mattel had Barbie Girl… the doll cold war of the 00s 😂
Barbie VS bratz was crazy, especially since barbie actually owned bratz for a little bit and was about to release their own bratz
I know the website was Japan-only but I would have liked to see Sanrio's Jewelpet. I'm a little too old to have been on the Webkinz train (Neopets on the other hand...) but I gotta say Jewelpets are adorable.
But Jewelpet is'nt a ripoff though.
@@commandixnostalgia2321 The original website was very much taken from the Webkinz toy to life concept. Some theorize that it was the reason why it never came to the west since they didn't want to get sued.
Which is uh, dumb, since Shining Stars and such didn't get sued.
Well yeah, but it had the same general premise (buy a toy, get a virtual version) and also I need to see more people talk about Jewelpet :(
i actually was in LOVE with the concept of irl pets to online worlds, i loved beanie 2.0, webkinz, lpsonline, and bearville online. online worlds were my whole childhood. i am super excited for bearville rewritten!
16:28 "This doesn't deserve a captain's log because this is DEAD SERIOUS! I want everything *ABOUT MY HOUSE OFF OF BEANIE LAND!"*
My chihuahua's stomach split open so we had to stitch him back up :(
Webkinz was obviously my favorite and the GOAT, but I was also OBSESSED with buildabearville.
Game recognize game
For me, if you want me to get hooked on your Webkinz knock-off, you gotta have amazing mini games.
THE SONGS ON BEARVILLE WERE THE BEST
At the time, TyGirlz felt so vast and full of content! I'm surprised there wasn't actually that much to do now that I reflect on it as an adult. I guess I was an easily impressed kid haha
i love this video😭 i had one of the LPSO plushes and, from this video, i discovered i had a ty girl as well. i didn’t have a computer growing up so i never saw the virtual worlds they belonged to
I had a Ty girl and I didn’t know there was a website also lol
Snootz is fucking insane. I watched the entirety with my friends like two months ago and it’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever watched. From the bad animation, to the wild voice acting, to the terrifying chickens, and the live action episodes I recommend it if you feel like laughing.
I really hope that the Barbie Girlz Rewritten project gets further along soon. The dressup function is always a blast, and I really want to go waste time on the one I remember best..
Same here
I so appreciate your JellyTV shoutouts :') Not only are they great recommendations, but it really makes this niche digital nostalgia corner of TH-cam feel like a community
when the build a bear game came out, i went back to the store and the employees let me retroactively pick a code for any character to go with the childhood bear i had gotten. i picked the one that looked closest to mine and apparently it was some super rare character because the few times i played i had people incessantly spamming me with trade requests for my bear’s item after seeing it being carried around in my backpack.
Hearing the background music of Dogz from the Gameboy advance, no matter how low a volume it was played, I see you're a woman of culture 💅🏻
the shining stars brought back so many memories in regards to the commercial! i loved the lil mark on their foot :3
I remember be-bratz. It was kinda fun, but kinda blank. I held on to the usb-access key thing for years until I lost it. I vaguely remember the commercials being all like "You can wear it as a necklace and wow all your peers with how cool and exclusive you are."
6:51 NOT THE "HE NEEDS SOME MILK" WHEN THE CAT CAME UP 💀
It would make a loud thud against the wall
I was the BIGGEST build-a-bearville kid oml thank you for talking about itt. Even the soundtrack slapped. I miss it sm I wish it still existed :( also kangaroos are in the yard
i could listen to you talk for yours your voice is so calming
what is the music for 16:31 there was an old flash chatroom game called Whirled i used to play and some rooms would have this music in the background, along with "what a wonderful world" in the main lobby.
It’s just been sitting in the back of my mind gathering cobwebs until this video dug it out
i had ty girlz i did not know there was a virtual world connected to them. i just use to put even more makeup on them.
15:18 Clifford hit rough times
Also omg bearville! I remember printing out my own builboeards I made on that game I was OBSESSED
I LOVED BEARVILLE TOOOOOO
I never played any of these games, but I've seen that UBFunkies commercial hundreds of times! Huge nostalgia blast.
Oh wow girl tou came far since I first binged your first few videos! Noice! Keep up the good work!
Once again, dream jelly uploads a day after Izzzyzzz! I really wanna see a collab from you two!
izzyzz + dream jelly + li speaks would be the magnum opus of the kids virtual world documentation genre
Snootz sounds like some random 12 year old boy trying to do an impression of Eric Cartman from South Park
These sites like Webkinz and Funkeys and even Neopets were something my younger siblings were into more than I was. I remember so many of these being just blended together, though my sister was super into Webkinz.
I really like the bubble noise downstairs you added in the transitions in the Webkinz video. It's my fave video to wind down watching before bed
The craziest thing about TY Girlz is that you can visit countries from all over the world but every single one of those dolls is white
welp snootz' shoutout to kelso and bunbun (my plush) was me. I thought I had that memory buried ages ago. I see I unintentionally have my five seconds of fame! Wonderful job on the video!!
Ty girlz was my whole childhood and i’ve spent years looking for youtube videos on it and always find practically nothing- this video done such good coverage of it i’m so happy 😭
this channel is such a gem for me! i love every video you post. the effort you put into editing and scripting is so entertaining. i love revisiting some nostalgic memories from my childhood that i feel like no one else has any recollection of and also learning about stuff i didn’t play with as a kid. keep it up 😊🎉
Every time I see a new Dream Jelly video I get the same endorphin rush as when I opened the delivery of my latest Wii game when I was 11
most of Bella Sara hasn’t been documented well because most users were young. it was so much more than just the stall sections and RPG Adventure. It had a huge world where you could plays many games, own a home, and explore the magical realm.
I loved InnerstarU as a kid. I actually only ever played it out of all these games and never even had a Webkin. I have many fond memories of it!
i had webkinz as a little kid but once i got into my preteens i LOVED innerstarU. i always loved the dressup parts.
Innerstar U was the BEST! I have wanted to play it again SO BAD for years!!!
I was obsessed with Build-A-Bearville when I was 8, until I got banned and cried for 2 days
This video was made for me. The webkinz. The lpso. I remember that stat commercial. I've been a build-a-bear emoloyee for several years now and we all reminisce about bearville all the time. I had several UB funkeys!! Absolute delight to watch this!!
bearville was honestly the only virtual world that kept my attention the same way webkinz did: working in the cafe had a chokehold on me
I've been binge-playing the Sims and Animal Crossing the last couple weeks so the sound effects on this one were surreal lmao
See, it’s funny you mentioned Seapals being aquarium toys, because the only one I’ve ever gotten was the seahorse at an aquarium!
If you want More Content I recommend Billiam's video on it, he goes more over the gameplay loop and it may get your nostalgia gears whirring more
I only just finished this video and the shining stars pets just flashed me back.
I got my first one in 2010 and it did have the code and I LOVED the game
@@CCClarinet12so happy for you
The "HE NEEDS SOME MILK" with the cat had me rolling on the floor lol.
Fun fact: Snootz voice actor was literally a random ty employee at the time (it took a while for people to find them lmfao)
Btw bb 2.0 has a fandom now thanks to Athena p (a popular TH-camr who covers nostalgic media) floptok reeeeaaaly likes snootz… (also there’s smut)

Thanks for the name drop! 🥹🫶
Uuggghh I just adore how the preview picture looks.. so nostalgic and pretty i wanna eat it...
the hold bearville had on my friend and me. out of any virtual world I played as a kid, that one had one of the coolest maps to explore and roleplay in haha
I had a beanie baby 2.0 husky named “Dagley” that I brought everywhere
I AM SO GLAD TO SEE A NEW UPLOAD!!! I was literally seconds away from posting “I require more Dream Jelly” on your last video. So thank you 🙏
Also sorry for being aggressive I just love your videos 😅😅
i used to love shining stars :') here in the uk webkinz were rare to find, but shining stars were everywhere!! i had like 10 of them and i was obsessed with the web series they released
the way that i watched your videos and JUST now subbed, i kept having the videos show up on the home page so i thought i was 😭
okay, This is the first time in a long time that i've had a vid make me pause to comment: the way you used the storm cloud bit as a way to slide in and out of a tangent was impressive and so fucking smart👏 Also, you unlocked so many memories of my plush collecting journeys as a kid that I fully forgot: so thx
why is the shining stars narrator like "aw shit aw fuck oh fuck fuck shit fuck aw damn fuck hell shit oh damn jesus oh fuck shit aw fuck"
