    This video shows you how to install new TRQ outer tie rods on your 1993-1997 Ford Ranger. Outer tie rods, sometimes referred to as “tie rod ends,” connect the steering rack to the steering knuckle. Their joints can wear out over time, causing loose steering, vibrations, and uneven tire wear. They are also a common failure point in localities with safety inspections.
    This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
