I️ realize I’m years late to this party but I️ just had to commend and thank you sir for an excellent demo. This is exactly what I️ was looking for and you wasted no time, gave pertinent info and just did a stellar job. Thank you!!!!
Hello and thank you for the kind words! I plan on starting up again but I just haven't found the time lately. I'm also still into knives but other hobbies and pursuits are taking away funds so when I come back the stuff I make videos about may change.
I've also removed the assist on my 0566 & 0770. They all flip beautifully without the assist. Really wish Kai would give the same treatment to their Kershaw line. The Dividend would be a perfect EDC without the assist, but it has no proper detent.
Thanks from Germany! 🙏 Our government is going to ban knifes with spring assisted opening mechanism and I was looking for way to keep my ZT knife legal and myself out of trouble. 😅
Thanks a ton brother. This is by far the zt I want the most. I really wanted one I would be able to deassist so this will definitely be coming home soon.
So glad to hear it! I really like this model. Considering the Kershaws in your collection, I think you'll really find the 0350 to be very comfortable. Keep me posted when you get one. And have a great week, buddy!
noredcr is correct; adjusting the pivot screw is usually your main weapon against an off-centered blade. I'll try to make a video on this very soon. Thanks!
Precisely! I have a coworker who just bought one on my recommendation and he's about ready to remove his as well, for exactly the same reason. It's just one more thing to have to worry about. Good luck and don't lose any screws, hehehe!

I have the 0770cf and my torsion bar broke. So I thought the knife wasn’t good anymore but after your video I am happy it is still very useful. Thanx
Awesome, thanks! Don't forget that Kershaw will send you a free replacement torsion bar if you contact them through their website.
How could I remove the screws if I can't get the screwdriver to rotate? it always slips away.
Thanks from Germany! 🙏

Thanks a lot for the video. Anyone on here know if you can do this with the ZT 0400? I also hate the resistance when closing it. Thx

Thanks for doing this video as I wouldn’t of known it had a detent!!! 👍🙂
Can I do this to my Cryo?
Where can I buy a new torsion bar?
Same question, did you ever find one?
@@Reyesthagreat yeah, I emailed ZT and they just sent me a free one
Great vid and very helpful, just desisted mine. Feels like a different knife and much better.
Please show us on video what you would do to center the blade on this or any other knife. Thanks man.
you just adjust the pivot screw until its centered.

Perfect for those of us that really wanted this knife and live in NY. Don't wanna be locked up for carrying a "switchblade"
Thank you sir for this video I will be doing this to my 0350 knife today
Would love to see that video. So would a lot of newbies on any knife or a variety of them.
Just took the bar out of my 350 but it's still pretty stiff. I have to really flip it hard or use my wrist to open the knife. Any way to fix this?
adjust the tightness of the torx screw till its as tight or loose as you want; had to when I de assisted my blur. It's easier then it sounds.
Thanks bud will be doing mine tomorrow. Like you I'am getting tired of getting nicked just closing my knife.

thanks for your help. (from France)
+bourrel philippe Glad to! Thank you for watching, friend!
never realized how beastly the liners on this knife lol
I know! They're pretty darn thick! Thanks for watching and commenting!
the fact that they are milled as if the knife is in fact a frame lock is sweet. I dont think ive ever seen that before.
