I saw Robin play a gig in De Pere WI maybe 1969? I sat at his feet, i was just 13 years old. I knew I was going to become a musician after that gig. I'm 67 now still writing songs and still touring. Some people come into your life and change it in an instant. And when I play a gig now I'm mindful of passing on this gift we all call music. This is a powerful song. Thank you Robin!
Dear Robin and Linda. I first heard you in the 70's when I was part of the Niskayuna Folk Culture club, with Vaughn and George Ward. I worked for Chuck Munson doing sound for your concerts several times, and then for years I heard you on various venues, generally on the radio. You never seemed to change, I thought of you in the 70's and remembered your younger days, and with it my younger days as well. It was a comfort and a joy each time. Thank you for this song and being a life constant for me for the past 40 something years. The video and song brought tears to my eyes.
Thank you, Robin and Linda, for never failing to make our days a little brighter, even during hard times, with your incredibly wonderful music. I'm a very long time fan, and always will be.
Robin and Linda are incapable of doing anything that's not absolutely superb and this is another perfect example. Timeless, sublime brilliance. Now . . . if they'd just come back to Europe for a long overdue tour!
The video is a wonderful complement to a sweet song, much appreciated from all those old folks who have learned how to dance together for a long time. 30, 40, 50 years...how does that happen in the blink of an eye?
Seems we grow older together. Typically beautiful melody in a wonderful story about aging. You both continue to tear at the heartstrings of an old man and his wife of 54 years. Love seeing you always. Thanks.
We went down to the Oak Grove Folk Music Festival a few days ago (we're from NJ) and saw you perform! We absolutely enjoyed every song you played and, in particular, The Old Lovers Waltz. This video is just lovely and very sweet. My wife and I love your music and hope to see you again! Thanks for making our vacation in Virginia very special...
Like all your songs, this is beautiful, heartfelt, and endearing. Your music has been one of my favorites for most of my life. Gosh, I miss seeing you all play live. Be safe. Be well.
What a poignant video for those of us approaching the end of our time here. Physically we were never really very good dancers, but our lives blended together so well...now we waltz with walkers and wheelchairs. It would be a bit harder now to follow you from the Mabel Tainter in Menomonie, WI to the Fortune Williams Festival in Staunton but thank the Lord we have your CDs. And shotgun shells...

This song, and hearing your vocal harmonies, brought me back to our days together at the Cortand Drag Inn Coffeehouse~

I missed you folks, been following you all since 1985, seen you several times, think about you often, been retired since Feb 2021.
A comment from EG brought me here. Just lovely!
Is that a drop of rain on my face? Is my roof leaking? Robin and Linda, this is beautiful. We love you.

But, what if you don't dance? Oops, there's an inside joke. RW
Just beautiful. Can't stop the tears,
Thank you so much. Robin
I miss your concerts so much. You never disappoint. Thanks for this lovely video. May God bless you both.
