I always enjoy looking back over my notes as you describe each perfume! When you mentioned cigarette smoke in the opening of freckled and beautiful, it reminded me that I had been confused by the opening as well but I didn’t know what I was smelling so I just described it as spicy herbal floral medicinal… but only for a few seconds. And then all of those sweet, nutty, buttery milky notes come out :) And Lost Alice reminds me so much of those Arrowroot baby cookies my kids used to eat. 😁 Blondine has been on my “to try” list for so long I’ve got to add it to my next sample order! 🥰
I'm not sure if this qualifies as a floral gourmand , bc they only list 3 notes, nothing gourmand and nothing that would make me think I would fall so hard ,but Stellar Times from LV is just WOW , I only have the sample due to the price tag or I would have driven right back to the store!!!! 💃💲💲💲💲 one of my friends pretended to bite my arm when she smelled , it's sweet and there's something yummy about it 💖 she will be added 😍

This video was awesome because honestly you don't hear a lot of people break down the varying categories into their sub-categories like this: Full on Gourmand vs Floral Gourmand, Fresh Rose vs Dark or Incensey Rose or Oud/Rose, Fresh Jasmine vs Indolic Jasmine, Light Tea vs Dark Tea, Milk, White and Dark Chocolate etc. So, I enjoy looking into these more specific fragrance families...And have you had the chance to try Pearlescent Parfums Midnight Jasmine? Its pretty much Rose All Dae but with Jasmine - and I have struggled with Jasmine myself but I REALLY enjoy that one! Its a GREAT Floral Gourmand! Thanks for such a cool, cool list!

I think I need to try some biscuit (that's the British version of biscuit, not Southern) fragrances, but I have been scared off by a couple of fragrances I tried that have Graham cracker and waffle cone accords, which I do not like, That reminds me, though, as a sister Southerner, I was laughing at you saying "scone" like a Brit! I say it with a long "O" that has that particular Carolina :O" sound. Thanks for bringing up Datura Noir and Datura Amaratti because I have wondered if they are similar. I love Datura Noir, esp in the drydown, but it doesn't last on me, so I have been interetsed in Datura Amaretti.

To my dismay, Atlas Garden didn't play well with my skin, not sure of it's the dates note? My favorite floral gourmands (assuming they fit into this category) are Van Cleef and Arpels Orchidee Vanille, Salvatore Ferragamo La Corte, and Amouage Love Tuberose, and YSL Supreme Bouquet ❤️

Hello darling! None of these is overly nutty and I need to make a nutty video ! But out of these in the video…..probably Datura Amaretti. The almond is quite prominent. But whatever you do….do Not blind buy…..you like more delicate fragrances (I remember your wedding day perfume was the Shalimar Soufflé flanker ) and this is not delicate like that one. This one is a punch straight between the eyes. 🥰😂
