    I visited Fenger High School today in Representation of the college I work for and it has the capacity to hold 5000 students but currently has less than 300 enrolled. The testimony that those students have is so so heartbreaking... Many of them have had to cope with the murders of their siblings, close friends and peers. It is difficult for these students to see past the following day when their reality is deferred dreams, loss of those close to them and complete disenfranchisement socially, economically and academically

    I guess welfare and single-motherhood has been a blessing to these communities.
