this is my favourite ms20 patch. i made the video for a friend, thought i might as well share it with yt. excuse the shakiness, the keyboard stand i'm using is not very stable
This is a really beautiful and incredible patch - honestly the narrative created thru the process of setting it up really adds to the moment when it hits as intended finally
@@christophbresch I love how they're both very simple, and imminently patchable. Really makes for a "performer's" synth, that's also super useful in a studio.
@@JeanDearCanada in a band mix it may be fine, on it's own it's way too noisy (as can be heard here https: //th-cam.com/video/K0NxDbPjm5w/w-d-xo.html ;-))
it is a fun machine and was great for me as a first synth when i bought it 9 years ago. nowadays there are many better (and with behringer around even cheaper) options, unless you're specifically into the ms20's character (namely it's dirty sound and the dual resonant filter - oh, that filter, it's really fun to play). btw, did you check my next video where i'm actually playing the patch?
I guess you could use one as a modulation source for the other, if you want more than one lfo and two envelopes. Or run the output of one into the others filter or input for some fm, maybe.

Not enough patch videos of the mini on TH-cam. Thanks.
The Holy Grail of MS 20 patching videos.
Thanks, good to know it serves a purpose
This is fantastic! I'm going to have to try out all of these patches!
Made this patch on the Kronos. Thank you 🎉
You definitely know your way around that thing.
MS20 sounds great!
yes, it is pretty unique and fun to play. grnaly and dirty, and yet the filters sing beautifully

Really cool ! Thanks for sharing
thanks and welcome
Can one patch two MS 20's together? Why are there no videos showing this, or are there?

👍
🤙🤙🤙
nothing i do on the patch bay is changing any of the sounds on the synth. any idea why?
What did you try? Noise to ext signal in for example should add noise
where did you get the splitter cables that you are using, and do they make them in 1/4"? Also, this video is great and super easy to follow.
they're from tiptop audio. bought them in germany from thomann and schneiders laden. hope this is still helpful.
Stackcables
Now just get rid of the dust on that poor thing ...
i did - and sent it to a friend since i never played it after going modular, hoping it would receive more love there (this was my farewell recording)
