Hello Tom. Thanks for a snapshot in to your average day. Yesterday I did my first shift with The Watercress Line. We walked about a mile and a half of track gauging, tightning fittings and greasing points fittings and all moving parts etc. Felt good to be doing something different for a change. I am going to become a full member and try to spend more time there. Good people to crew up with....
You couldnt resist with sending mrs lamb to shop for that stuff, good 1,lucky you didnt get brush on head😂😂😂,she is as quiet as a lamb, she took it well, unless off camera you got it ,great work you turn your hand to any project
Tartan Paint, Shyhooks and a Long Weight from Stores! :-D I guess you are lucky not to be wearing the rake or the broom. Emily has the patience of a saint.
Bloody hell Tom you lucky barstool haha good to see you cracked out all the classics for the new apprentice, a long wait, tartan paint, sky hooks. She'll have you back I'm sure.
Watched someone the other day levelling soil with a telehandler, positioned themselves and then put it in Crab steer and run parallel with the kerb. Appreciate they are a lot of money but that operator on a rubber duck with a tilt rotator working on a road and housing project adding topsoil and finishing off ready for grass seed is an impressive sight and skill. The old Tartan paint, my brother was an apprentice at a paint and body shop in the 1980's with one customer Henry Long Transport running Merc 1625 / 1628's painted bright orange with a Tartan band around the cab. So of course our kid was sent to get the Tartan paint and back again as there is more than one Tartan lol. They also held him down and sprayed his head with the bright orange paint as Beaker from the Muppets. Probably be arrested for assault nowadays if you sprayed an apprentices head with lorry paint while others held them down.
Love this channel Tom, you and Emily are great. Speaking of Emily, at timestamp 11:20 she was wearing black trousers. 5 seconds later she was wearing blue jeans. You need to have a word with your continuity director. 🤔
Fab episode Tom ❤ I always wanted to see one of those off-road electric pole lorries at work 😃 You’re a perfect couple 😜 should have asked for a spirit level bubble 😂 MAXIMUM POWER 🤘🏼😼🤘🏼
Your misses has the patience of a saint. Long wait, yep; but then tartan paint and skyhooks, Haha. Remember, she cooks your food. Hello from Regional Queensland. (Australia)
Hi Tom.i would personally say cheers for using your time to make all your videos.in these times many folk are making such videos, But in my uneducated opinion you and your style is one of the best I have had the absolute pleasure in watching.you just come over as a normal everyday guy and you have an honesty about you which I really do like.i hope you can keep finding the time to make more and probably do to your personality your not satisfied to sit still and you keep improving and adding to your already brilliant videos. I would like to watch a bit more tonight but the dog needs his walk.stay safe,cheers.Alan.
great to see other side of farming and working with the wife when you was talking about your idea for the dump value made perfect sense to me the other way in and out of the cab how many times love the chair in the background i had the same idea but not a welder but planing on one with wood in the summer when it warms up
Good job with the rolling. Good thing to do after is check the ground is level using a spirit level. Now to be sure the spirit level is accurate, best pop to the shops and get a new bubble for it - just to make sure it’s calibrated properly….😂
Good evening mr.mrs t..lamb 🐑 great video again my mate works for Surry and Hampshire electric board driving a 4x4 iveco pole lorry 🚛 clever work I am from South East England retired international truck driver and excavator 👍 operator

When I started my career in the electricity game in the 90s I drove a 4x4 Iveco, planting poles and putting up transformers etc. Good times, wish I was still on the tools now.
You're wife takes your humour well! Great job again, always interesting to watch. It sounds like you have environmental laws to encourage wildlife. Fantastic idea that I have never heard of here? Cheers from Adelaide, South Australia

"Long Wait", "Tartan Paint", "Sky Hook's" Omg for sure i nearly fell of my chair with laughing. i had all those back in the day when i was an apprentice. Can't believe your maud fell for those. :)))
Good video. Nice to see couples work as a team and fool around from time to time. :D btw. As long as the "hack" is not dangerous you can skip naysayers. Everyone's an expert nowadays.
the perfect farmer... a man outstanding in his field 😜 used to make lots enviro stuff like the bat boxes. got my bird boxes outside v&a museum dundee!. stick them on the pole before putting it up, so much easier!
I didn't believe anybody still used sky hooks, and I cannot believe your missus fell for it the first time on the long wait, try the bag of sparks for the grinder.
Your wife is too good for you. Keep treating her like that and one day she'll turn into a horrible witch. Patience and kindness of a saint. Funny video though :)
